Had a wonder around the garden centre before stopping for afternoon tea. Staff were very friendly, the food was fresh and competitively priced. Afternoon tea was a great deal

Dropped in for an afternoon coffee and cake and were not disappointed . This is a busy restaurant but we did not have to wait long to be served . The tables were clean and tidy and as soon as a table was vacated the girls cleared and wiped down ready for the next customer

Went to garden center for garden things, then fancy drinks.. Order coffe and milk seemed to work OK. Then food simple two melt sanwiches and and cheese sandwich for grand child just a cheese but not on the menu, The staff nearly got it but the till could not understand a small mix from it's (brain), But it is down to the things put inby our Rulers, never mind in the end we left HAPPY. The staff did understand..

I bought an Easter afternoon tea for my mother and father-in-law (not the easiest of people to please) for today at 3pm. They rang this evening to tell me what a wonderful experience it had been. Nice choice of sandwiches, humungous scones with clotted cream and a jar of jam, each, a selection of little cakes and delicious meringues with lashings of cream. Also large cups of tea and coffee, which they were surprised were refillable. They said the service was very good, the staff polite and helpful and the surroundings very pleasant. And they thoroughly enjoyed their treat. All in all a good choice. Excellent value for money. I will do this again for them.

Yes, they do the battering in the kitchen, i’ve seen them do it! Honest food, worth waiting for. My only very minor criticism is their white bread, it could be kept fresher. Worth a visit

Very reasonably priced, good food. Pick your times, it can quickly fill up and is family friendly so you can end up with lots of small children around. You can take dogs though we've not tried it yet.

As a place to recharge your batteries after the decsion making in the Garden Centre this was an ideal choice. I chose a cup of invigorating tea and my wife was very happy with her 'cream tea' and coffee choice.

Food is ok but a bit expensive. Adequate for a snack or drink when visiting the the garden centre. Staff are friendly and efficient...

Some confusion over what constituted a festive afternoon tea with some strange sandwiches consisting of brie, cranberry and sage and onion stuffing. Sandwiches were replaced by sensible sandwiches. St Clement's cake was amazing! Jude and James couldn't have been more helpful. With ample portions and pleasant staff at a good value price, I can recommend!

A pity items cost so much as it puts you off from buying food or having a coffee. Variety is okay. Plenty of tables so no worries about finding a seat.

Lovely place to go for a bit of lunch, been here a few times and never had a problem. The staff are very polite, and always do their best, I feel sorry for them sometimes as it can be busy and there are some customers who don’t understand that if food is cooked fresh to order there is going to be a wait, especially when everyone comes at once for their OAP specials, I don’t know how they stay so calm. Will definitely be back the soups and cheese scones are delicious and definitely worth the wait.

Was lovely to just pop in and have a latte. Good choice of drinks and food available. Even though I was on my own I didn’t feel awkward or anything. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Of cause they have the New The Works Shop in the centre too now so that was worth a look in too whilst I was there.

We popped in for lunch, first impression was clean airy and relaxing. We approached the counter and were spoilt for choice due to the large menu. The assistant named Amelia was so helpful and kind to us it was a pleasure to be served by her. We ordered ham, egg, and chips it was lovely and fresh and came out quickly. We clocked all the staff names as we were leaving, so a very big thank you to Jude, and Sarah but most of all the biggest thank you to Amelia who made our lunch pleasurable. We will going back to see what the chef has to offer.

Had a gift card for afternoon tea, well for the price it is very good. Lovely sandwiches nice and fresh, the scones were warm with clotted cream and jam and lovely cakes. And the tea and coffee were refillable. The coffee you could have Latte, Cappacino etc whatever you wanted. Nice clean place. Very good for price. I would say better than Pollys tea rooms in Marlborough as you don't get refills on the tea and coffee in there.

What a shame. Lovely food, which admittedly took a while to prepare but was fresh when it arrived, but the customer experience is appalling. Took two elderly dads for father's day. The menu is prominently displayed so we chose "shepards pie" (sic) for dad #1 leaving him at a table. Unfortunately the Sunday menu (with no shepherd's pie) is displayed AFTER the ordering point. Grrrr. There was nobody AT the ordering point. Eventually we ordered but had to wait maybe five minutes for someone to fill the water jugs and replenish the fork tray. Come on manager, get your staff together! The fish and chips were great, but the lemon had been sliced with a knife previously used to cut something red and had to be sent back. Not good. What a shame.
