Having dined here before with a friend it seemed only fair to take Ali who is coeliac. Sue,who with her hubby runs the place is also gluten intolerant so the menu has a brilliant choice & the staff are wonderfully knowledgeable in this regard. Vegans & veggies are also well looked after along with "normal" people like myself. I put plenty of reviews on here & really can't speak highly enough of The Lemon Tree.

Lovely friendly staff with a scrumptious breakfast! My daughter loves her fried eggs white only (don't ask) and they were more than happy to accommodate. Highly recommended for a breakfast!

A lovely stop when adventuring on the A1M. Huge selection of cakes and lovely meals too.

Had a great breakfast, I went for the little Monty, it was a generous serving and very tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly. The surroundings were very clean and welcoming. Will call here again.

Popped in for morning coffee and cake. Dog friendly (back room only). Plenty of choices of baked goodies. Lots of customers were having a full English breakfast. So pleased it was opened on a Sunday! We needed refreshments after a long walk!

What a lovely place this is, credit to the owners & the staff for making it so. The place is clean and spotless and a pleasure to be in. Everyone involved were polite and friendly and nothing was a bother for them. It's got too be one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long long time . . . Fresh and hot and plentiful 😋

Delicious 😋
We called in to Tadcaster for a lunch stop driving back from a week near Pickering. The staff found us a table & made us feel very welcome. Our breakfast was ample and we enjoyed every bit! Highly recommend it .

Food is really nice and not too expensive, I was put off by the cost of the toasties, but the rest of the menu seems reasonable. The service is really friendly and accommodating. The pie was very meaty and filling. I would call here again.
