You could not wish to meet a more hospitable, friendly and welcoming family than Dave & Eileen's. In a beautifully re-furbished Traditional Old English Pub who still deliver their ales via Shire Horse and cart. Jolly nice food too.

Lovely old fashioned English pub. Good friendly staff, clean everywhere, saw Sam Smith's white shires decent outside space also. Good value on all drinks. It's the breweries pub so you can tour the brewery also. Couple if doors up is the little delicatessen which sells all local produce and home made cakes & pies - also Sam Smith's beers in cases!! Lovely place to visit is tadcaster

Great pub right in the centre of Tadcaster. Lots of room inside with traditional interior and a small courtyard outside overlooking the stables for the work horses. Serves a large range of drinks all brewed from Samuel Smith's brewery next door. Fantastic prices and great beer.

I was very taken by this pub. Not only are the staff and locals very friendly and helpful, and not only is the beer well kept and quaffable, but from the rear windows of the bar, you can look into the stable yard that is home to some of the most beautiful horses I think I have ever seen. You can even go out and say hello to them too. A smashing place to go for a pint.

Samuel Smith's flagship pub in the brewing town. A full range of the brewers beers on draught all superbly kept and served. The famous white dray horses are stabled here and can often be seen across from the main bar. Interiors modernized but very traditional using the best materials. Don't miss.

Great Sam Smiths pub on the high street , through Tadcaster. Good selection of Cask ales, Lagers, bottle beers, wines and spirits, food available every day of the week. Parking on main street, public car park, 2 minutes away fantastic Indian restaurant and fish and chip shop nearby.

It's a pub that is metres from the brewery, beer is fantastic, oak panelled and the place you are happy to spend hours in. No phones or music but in this day and age it is a sanctuary and not anything to moan about. So happy to be able to call it my local!

Sunday lunch was very good. 3 meats. Roast potatoes and mash. Good veg. Yorkshire. Stuffing. Delicious gravy. Good price. Living fires in all rooms. Clean bathroom facilities. If you're in Tadcaster at Sunday lunchtime don't miss it

REAL BEER, REAL PUB This is the brewery pub and as with all Sam Smiths pubs, they have no distractions from Fruit Machines, Jukebox's or Televisions. Your not allowed to use your phone, tablet or laptop. Well this makes for a truly fabulous atmosphere, where people share conversation, this should be the norm ! Not only that the beer is excellent value and my tipple 'Old Brewery Bitter' is just the best.
