Amazing restaurant to eat at. Loads of parking and great views around the area and places to walk. The food is extremely filling but delicious and the staff will let you box it up to take leftovers home. I recommend trying the milkshakes as they are divine, one of the best I’ve ever tried. Staff are friendly and the decorations around the restaurant is insane. Only downfall is the location is a bit isolated but except for that would recommend.

Oh my word 😍 I loved this place, the atmosphere and music is my type. All was so good, the staff are polite & professional. Service was great even they were so busy. Food absolutely delicious. We tried the Mississippi Burger and Fajita with beef steak, and two milkshakes, Chocolate and Strawberry which I didn't like strawberry one, just personal choice. We had late lunch. It was so great. The only feedback to their service I would say there was quite waiting before anyone approach us at reception which it was understanding of being busy but I would say one staff could be stay at reception as soon as guests arrive 😁 I would definitely Come back even I don't live in local and I definitely recommend it. If you go to visit and walk around Surrey Hills, try this restaurant for sure.

My 2nd visit - once again, great atmosphere, food and staff. I had chicken burrito and boy, that was delicious. Arrived hot, presentable and yummy! Honor (I think that's her name) had been very friendly and helpful. Certainly a hardworking staff :)

A fun place to eat, enjoyable, staff are very friendly and on point with checking tables and customers. Menus are work fine, although a suggestion would be to separate the drinks from the food menu as it looks a little cluttered. Kids menu and adults a 2 card menu clearly illustrated would fit better than the binded drinks and adults dishes in a book. Service was good and you felt as though the team worked well together and kept an eye on the tables to ensure a quality service. Thematically the American western idea works nicely, and staff go the full way with costumes which my daughter loved. Prices were reasonable I feel and for a table of three adults and 1 child our bill was £93, we ate well, very well, and overall we felt content with the food quality. Food overall, was what you expect from a decent Americana eatery, which is good portions and flavours. I will say the spices on the salmon overpowers it into being subdued fish meat that's too heavily coated with spice powder, I would recommend it being based in oil that's infused with the spices so it doesn't ruin the fishes texture, as just dumping spices on it drys it out heavily. All that aside the ribs were spot on, wings were great, and fries were nicely rustic in style and flavour. One complaint is the car park could do with better arrangement, I'll explain. Some customers can not tell which is an open space for reverse and exit requirements and which you can park in, making leaving tricky if you're near a corner, my advice is to park around the back of the restaurant to avoid this issue, better marked box's and signage with yellow markers would help for the visually impaired. Good venue, great location, would recommend.

This themed restaurant is not far from the popular Boxhill walk. The salmon dish with rice and vegetables was very good, enough flavour to make it interesting and this place had really good portion sizes, well worth the money spent. Parking is tight, as the spacing is narrow and small so come prepared to do some manuvoring. Our waitress was great and patient with my indecision as well as informing. They can easily make some of the burgers into gluten free if needed . The toilets are pretty small and tight spaced and decor could be not to everyone's taste if you don't like American Indian/ western themes. But as a food service restaurant it was great.

If you love a true American alike experience, foods, drinks, country music - this is the right place for you. After a long walk through the woods, thanks to National Trust for this, on Box Hill, we have stopped at this amazing restaurant.

Very upset! We are regulars. We made a reservation with a birthday 🎂 and it never happened. They completely forgot about it and were not very apologetic about it. They ruined my surprise and my birthday and the staff acted like of well, maybe next time. Incredibly rude lady.

Nice American restaurant on the top of Boxhill. American style decoration makes feel like we are really in US. Btw, Bills is for gent’s, and Jills for Lady’s, quite confusing but an interesting new knowledge.

Six adults and one toddler met here for Sunday lunch. It was quite busy and thus very noisy but there was ample parking available - always a plus. The prices struck me as a tad high but maybe not used to the higher post-covid prices. Allow plenty of time to arrive as the trek up Zig Zag Road - the name says it all - before adding on many cyclists - can be slow going. Special thanks to our waitress, Miriam, whose uniform read 'cowboy in training' as nothing was too much trouble.

Really enjoyed our day at Smith & Western, hadn't been there for at least 10 years. A couple of pints, a few nibbles. Loaded nachos were nice but not really for sharing. Southern Comfort chicken wings were really good. Can't remember what it's called, but they do a margarita with a bottle of corona in it, which a friend said was really good. Kids loved the milkshakes. Love the decor. The restaurant was absolutely packed. Could do with a bigger car park. It was really busy, but not surprising for a Saturday afternoon with families, couples and groups all at Box Hill and not many other places to dine in the area. Didn't expect to have spent so much especially as we only went for a family walk at Box Hill.

The theme of the place says it all. It’s everything about cowboys and Indians. The main feature is the jail part. The waiters and waitresses are dressed in cowboy/girl clothes. The food is outstanding and the presentation is grand too. The Nacho platter is great to share and for IG too.

Been going here for around 15 years or so....food was average and service was always a bit poor only went there as my kids enjoyed it. We went back there last week and the difference is huge, our waitress Brittani played a huge part, super nice and super attentive. The place was reasonably busy and she appeared to be waiting all the tables on her own and she made it look easy. The food has also definitely improved a huge amount and it no longer feels overpriced it's actually now excellent value for the quality of food and we are now counting down days to next birthday to back there. Everything we ate was awesome and definitely have dessert!!!

Warmly welcomed for our first visit by Jodie. Seated at a window table with views of the valley below us. We chose the Pony Express lunch special. I had buffalo wings with TNT sauce. My son had Ballyhoo Tiger prawns. Both dishes were really good. My main was half rack of ribs and a steak burger with curly fries. Both dishes were excellent. We finished off with mini donuts and ice cream. Only £19.00 for 3 courses including a drink. Really good value for money. We will be back!!

The meal was okay, lots of choice. Quite pricey though. Lots of kids around. School holidays. We sat on the balcony over looking the car park and some views of the Surrey hills. Nice place to sit. Good friendly service. We missed a trick and didn't say it was our birthday.
