Limited breakfast menu but very good food and nice coffee, hot chocolate. Friendly and helpful service - allowed substitution of breakfast items.

Friendly, great food, reasonably priced.
However...the website at the time of writing is misleading.
Main meals are served Mon to Thu 1200 to 1430 and Fri/Sat 1200 to 1700.
Don't turn up at 1530 on a Thursday and expect a full meal. Ask me how I know!

Stopped off after a lovely walk at Aldie Burn for a bite to eat early afternoon (with 4 dogs between us). A fantastic selection & lots of outside seating to enjoy the lovely weather. Every meal was delicious, from lasagne, chicken burger, fish n chips & steak pie - all were great portion sizes too
Have visited a couple of times since moving to the area. MFS serves generous portions of well prepared and presented food at reasonable prices. Staff were lovely and we felt very welcome both times.
We had a wonderful meal at the old station cafe. The service was spot on nice and quite you could hear your self think.
