Review Y Bedol Inn - Tal-y-Bont

Beautiful traditional country pub with outstanding views from the fabulous beer garden. Food is exceptional and very well priced. Good range of drinks from the bar with a fantastic kept cellar (the taste of the lagers and ales shows this). Sunday dinner is a must always piping hot and delicious. Portions are big and the meat is so tender with Yorkshire puds to die for. Fabulous choice of homemade desserts to finish. The pub may be old but the interior is up to date but in keeping with the character. Spotlessly clean and a very well kept beer garden with its very own stream. Traditonal coal fire roaring on the cold winter days. Staff are efficient and friendly and seem nothing is too much trouble. Dog friendly and the staff make such a fuss of them with bowls of water and a doggy treat. Highly recommended by locals aswel and you can see why.

My husband and I had been disappointed when the establishment we had planned to visit and have dinner was closed for a couple of days. We came across Y Bedol and decided to try it. This was the best decision we have made! The staff were so friendly and the food was fantastic in quality, quantity and value for money. Would certainly recommend Y Bedol to everyone.

Came to stay a night around the area to do some exploring on the next day around Wales. The owner of the place we stayed advised us to go eat here as it was late and it was the only close by place will serving food. friendly place, loved the food and the brownie with the custard was so good!

Not been here for a long time and now new owners. Pleased to say we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly and efficient. It's an old pub with lots of atmosphere. Will be back soon 🙂

Stopped off for a Sunday lunch and was definitely not dissatisfied. Wife and kids had Pork and I had Lamb. Portion sizes were massive and totally fresh, not like some places I've been. The broccoli and cauliflower cheese was amazing........my 10 year old son was the connoisseur and the mash was unreal. Potty were only here for a short break as I would be back every week.

The people are absolutely lovely, so kind and welcoming almost feels like you're at home even being new customers visiting. The food was amazing, hearty pub grub favourites. Clearly the pies are a massive hit as we couldn't get one but the sausage and mash was delicious 😋. If we visit the area again, we'd definitely be in the Y Bedol.

After walking 120km across Snowdonia, this well positioned Pub offered a welcome stop with a cosy atmosphere. Amazing home cooked food, and the gift of setting our tent up in the beer garden after final orders, before heading out for the Train Station early in the morning. 5+ Stars
