I enjoyed the spacious room and the breakfast, but it’s a bit inconvenient to choose your food from the previous day. Dinner/lunch portions were generous, sometimes too much. The beef burger was a bit dry, and the nachos seemed a bit aged, but the guacamole and chicken strips were tasty. Overall, a decent experience, giving it 3/5 stars.

Excellent food and value. Staff very friendly and efficient. Only issue was that it wasn't very warm indoors but will be going back very soon. No

Great hotel for both 2 legged guests and 4. Well equipped, styled and very clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The owner and the entire staff are warm and welcoming. Good vegan breakfast. Quiet and well located for both nature walks and towns. Couldn't ask for more!

Several vegan offers, good food. The Tal-y-Cafn on the A470 near Eglwysbach, Conwy, has a couple of dishes to offer vegans, both very nice indeed. We had Watermelon Curry (with huge lumps of watermelon - not a combination I would have thought of) and Shawarma Kebab Wrap (comes with chips). Also, our side of olives was huge, which was also a really nice change. Surroundings in Tal-y-Cafn are comfortable and spacious, inside and out. Although everything is well kept and relatively new, there are many stylish nods to the traditional. The staff are efficient, friendly and very obliging. Our food came quite quickly, despite there being quite a few customers in. Access was easy, flat from the street with wide doors, toilets also on the flat. The memory days they do a vegan Sunday roast, so we will be back!

This is a little gem for you and your furry friends. Everything you need is catered for as well as your furry friend. Absolutely lovely, I can not recommend it enough. Tyler is so helpful, as are all the other lovely staff. Breakfast and dinner were most enjoyable. Very much looking forward to my next visit. Thank you all at Tal y Cafn

Just had a fantastic meal with my husband and two children and our dog. One of my children is gluten free and they were very accommodating of this and will definitely be returning on our next holiday in Wales. Overall a very good evening x

Came here for breakfast. Staff were friendly, food was good. We liked the music playing as well! Drinks prices were very steep. £3.50 for a Tea and £4 coffee seems a bit much in my opinion. All round good experience.

Really nice pub with a restaurant area, bar area, and nice outside area. Food is good and the staff are very friendly. They serve a nice local IPA and also Blue Moon which is a good ale and should be tried. All in all a nice place for a drink or something to eat.

Seating outside in comfy seats and tables are available, which we were lucky enough to be able to use in the current weather. We able to look out over to the foothills of the Carneddau in lovely sunshine. The tastefully decorated dining room was busy with Sunday afternoon lunch eaters. The pub is very dog friendly, offering dog treats to be be bought at the bar. One word of warning, the drums of trendy crisps are not worth the trouble. Staff are very friendly and Front of House wonderfully welcoming. If you are local and live in the area you can sign up for a 25% discount card - apply at the desk on entry or exit. Highly recommended. Perfect after a walk in the wonderful hills of Northern Snowdonia for a light meal and refreshing drink. Walk ins available.
