Colonial Inn

This motel was gross. So unclean, we payed triple the price shown online for disgusting conditions. Half used conditioner bottles in my room and my pillow was smelling and blankets dusty. Way to expensive for the quality provided. I don’t really understand how there are any nice reviews on this motel unless I had the worst room in the whole complex.

Booked in late but wasmt an issue, upon arrival was greeted by the lady owner, beautiful persona and well spoken, kind and caring..spoke to male owner and had a good meet and greet, owner went out of his way to come introduce himself as he was away when arriving, again cant fault him. Exceptional owners willing to help anyone if asked. Stayed with 6 kids in a family room, this room was exceptional and best i have stayed in yet in Tamworth, rooms clean, bathroom noticeably clean, beds have clean linen..kids are enjoying their stay as I am.. Big thanks to Robert and his wife, i will recommend this motel to all i know...my family will surely be back to stay.

The colonial inn had great heating and super hot water. However for a room that has the capacity to sleep 7 people, only 5 towels we're provided, with no cutlery or bowls or plates. Also the website States that there is WiFi and foxtell though on arrival found out that was not the case. I think it would be great to provide a FULL Continental breakfast. Over all it was comfortable enough and the owner was willing to receive our family at a later evening arrival.

I have travelled and had various accomodation but this one takes the cake,it is far from clean doesn't even have tea & coffee facilities only a jug and 4 cups not even a spoon. Beds are old, saggy and uncomfortable . Bath towels smelt .. so used our own. A/c old and dirty. Window sills covered in dead insects and dusty. No side tables or bed lamps. Shower tiles unclean. Front has a glass table and chairs, table all stained and dirt all over footpath. 2 x armchairs covered in stains and grime. YUK!!
