Called in for lunch with a friend. No meeters/greeters on this occasion but we found a nice table and ordered from the bar. Drinks and food arrived quickly. Reasonably priced menu ...we both had hunters chicken with chips, peas and on vine tomatoes. Freshly cooked and did not disappoint for pub food. We chose from the two for one menu which was £11 pounds something. The staff were polite, efficient but didn't fuss. Would recommend the Fox as a comfortable relaxing place to meet and eat.

Here yesterday with son and hubby for lunch and it was delicious. I had prawn and crab roll with salad and chips, hubby had fish finger baguette and my son a mixed grill. It was all served beautifully and was yum yum yummy. Great service and friendly staff too. Great value for money. Will definitely return.

Great pub with very good food. Had a lovely meal here with the other half. Had the lamb rump very tasty. Hubby had the chicken and bacon pie. Washed down with a magners and a coke for him. Very reasonable priced too. Will be back again. Went back with family for the excellent food.

Three of us had lunch at The Fox on Wednesday 1st November 2023 and it was excellent. The cleanliness, food and atmosphere was lovely but what really made our experience special was our server- the fantastic Margaret. Margaret assisted us with dietary requirements that were not straightforward or on the menu, and she ensured that we were accommodated with excellent food that was swiftly delivered. We cannot fault our lunchtime visit in any way especially in terms of value for money, but Margaret provided the special touches that will keep us coming back

Great local pub with friendly staff. Dog friendly too with treats nearby to be used as bribery to keep them quiet. Food was fab, tasty, hot and didn't have to wait long. Would recommend!

First family visit and the pub was so accommodating for us. Charlotte our server was brilliant and looked after us so well. She made us feel relaxed and kept checking in on us throughout the meal to see if we were ok. Bonus points for keeping the baby entrained while trying to take our orders! Food was nice but the chicken pie was a tad salty for my taste but overall good meal and great service. Will be returning 100% thank you Fox Inn.

Lovely meal at the Fox Inn whilst we were moored in Hopwas. Katie, our server was warm and welcoming. Attentive without being over whelming and made sure we were well fed. I particularly liked the fact that when I asked for the vegetarian option of the burgers she made sure to ask for any allergies and also checked whether I wanted vegan or standard cheese. The food was nice, as was the wine. I'd visit again.

Had a lovely meal as we were away for my Mum and Sons birthday. Thank you to all the staff for making it a special evening. My son had a steak and said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had! He is soon to be twelve and cleared his plate and wanted to thank the chef who was more than obliging.

I've not had calamari cooked that well in a long time! The lunch menu is huge portions for the price! And the staff.... very welcoming and attentive! Loved how dog friendly the pub is!

Food was amazing! The Hunter's Chicken was honestly the best one i've ever had! Compliments to the chefs. My partner had a really nice burger & even my little lad ate most of his food and dessert (main and dessert £5.50 really good kids deal) Waitress who served us 12/10/23 can't remember her name (brown hair in a bobble) was lovely! Poor woman looked like she was serving on her own but she was still so polite to everyone dining. She's a credit to the company! Never been here before & just popped in spontaniously after a day's shopping in town but we will deffinatley be coming here again! An overall wonderful meal, thank you to all!

We have visited several times and it never disappoints. Our food was very tasty and was temptingly presented. Katie's service was exemplary and extremely friendly. Will be back soon.
