Gemini Cantonese Restaurant

I ordered a Gemini Special Chow Mein takeaway. It arrived in good time. The noodles were thin and just coated with sauce and the prawns, beef, chicken and pork were cut small and were generally tender. This was a very good quality meal and I ate it all which is more than I can say of any takeaway that I have purchased locally.

An unusual find; a Chinese restaurant. Individual dishes are rather expensive but the set meals are good value. For example, beef in green pepper and black bean sauce is £12.80 but a set meal for 2 with 2 starters, 4 mains and rice is only £22.80 each. Quality is great, service is great. Overall, highly recommended.

Gemini in Tamworth, Staffordshire is by far the best Cantonese restaurant I have visited in the country. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. It was a regular place me and my late partner visited, about once a month but since he passed away in 2016 I have not been able to go back as I couldn't face going without him. I finally did tonight and it was lovely that the manager, Michael, remembered us. I told him that my partner had died and he looked upset as he knew us so well. The service is fantastic there, and feels very personal when Michael is looking after you. And what can you say about the food... outstanding doesn't even cover it. Everything we ate tonight was cooked to perfection. It's a must visit if your in the area, and if your not just travel there especially. Well done Michael and the team 😊😊
