Island Bites - Tarbet - Photo album

Great quality food, we were in a group and ordered a few different things of the menu. Cajun ciabatta, Cajun wrap, pork and apple burger, steak sandwich. All were excellent, would recommend stopping by if on the island.
This place came to the rescue when we found ourselves in Tarbert during a planned water maintenance cut off. Meaning no water, no toilets and therefore no cafes/restaurants. It was a bit of a wait as you can imagine it was very busy but the food was delicious and piping hot. The Cajun chicken wraps
Best food on the hebridean way. Lashing rain as we ordered after walking a tough 35km. A warm welcome, friendly chat and the food was delicious. Steak sandwich and parmesan chips were so tasty and cheered up a very weary walker. Thank you for your hard work Tarbert is lucky to have you
Menu was interesting and prices were very reasonable. My spiced Lamb Pattie Ciabatta was amazing and hubby said his pork burger with apple and pear chutney was very tasty with plenty of pork. All cooked to order so we waited 10 mins which was no problem. Definitely recommend if you in Tarbert
The best curry chips I have had in my life!Massive portion and the curry sauce was rich in vegetables-never had experienced such good take away!!Would happily return to Harris just for that🙂
We struggled to find something to eat for breakfast, which catered for my allergies, and I needed to take my medication. A local deli recommended island bites and they were great wasn't made to feel awkward and a couple of bacon rolls purchased at a good price with plenty bacon inside.
Food was brilliant and the lady running the place very friendly and welcoming. Was even happy to put together something that wasn't on the menu, delicious, and well worth a visit!
Positives: Think this has to be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to come back for more!! Negatives: I had to share them with my better half!! 😂😂
Most affordable, and friendly, chip shop in Tarbert. Try the garlic mayonnaise with the fish & chips.
Great food, freshly made. Friendly service.
