Where do I start. The staff were attentive and we were seated very quickly. There was three of us and we all ordered the Strongmans Breakfast . A pot of leafed English tea along with a strainer and lovely blue willow style teacups and saucers were given to us as well as a Pumpkin Spiced Latte for our son. The food was presented well and nothing served was of a less than premium quality. The atmosphere and decor was in keeping with this leafy Cheshire village. Well done to all of the staff and the chef. The photographs speak for themselves ❤️😊🇬🇧🇨🇦❤️

I've been in a few times when I've been on my bike. Food is always excellent and it makes for a great lunch and some treats to take home. Welcome is always friendly and its a pleasure to visit.

Always a great choice of excellent quality food but best of all are the staff. So friendly, helpful and thoughtful. My wife uses a wheelchair and we were made very welcome. We were treated with respect and made sure we had everything to help us enjoy our visit. Thanks 👍

Great cakes and assortment of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. Teas and coffees were fantastic. Unfortunately the only thing letting them down was service, they must have been short staffed on the day we visited. Well worth a visit here.

Tried this a couple of times. Great selection of food and drink and very nice decor and lovely staff but only complaint is service has been very slow. Took nearly 30 minutes to get 2 coffees and a piece of cake this morning. Don't think we'll be back

Ginger and pickles, tarporley, has really nice staff who, even when super busy, try and go the extra mile to make things good. The food is excellent, especially the bread which you can tell is locally made and really nice - doorstop toast really is nicely thick! Great service, thanks!

Busy cafe in the middle of Tarporley, but despite being rushed off their feet service was friendly and kind. Especially the lady with her arm in a cast/support. Good food and coffee.

I was visiting the area as my niece and nephew live locally. What a lovely place to take them to for a bit of a treat. We will definitely be back.

I adore this place and genuinely think that Jenell is the best. Her ability to really make customers feel valued, to remember small details that regulars tell her about themselves, and the amazing customer service she provides is second to none! She makes us want to come every weekend, just to see her smiley face (and to devour the delicious apple and sage soup with doorstop bread).

Excellent cafe located on Tarporley high street near the Rising Sun pub, they also have a bakery across the road. Nice views out of the windows and excellent food.
