Review Mrs Smith's At Haddo - Tarves

Kenneth Laing
Great wee cafe with good coffee, great sandwiches etc. and friendly staff Usually open when the main house cafe is shut. Very limited indoor seating, but a few picnic tables outside, some of which are covered. Only issue is, and I don't know how the cafe staff control this, are customers who think it's OK to allow their dogs to sit ON the picnic tables. Seriously?

Such a fabulous lunch spot. Stopped for a late lunch/ coffee. Staff were very friendly, coffee was very tasty and baguettes were delicious. All very good value in a beautiful spot.

Excellent coffee shop. Friendly staff, a range of vegan milk options available, outdoor seating for hot beverage after your walk round the park with your dogs.

Unbeatable on quality and price for a lunch, very good baguette sandwich for £4.50 definitely fills you up. Good outdoor seating with pleasant scenery. No brainer for a sunny day.

We walk our dog at Haddo very often , we have been going to Mrs Smith everytime after our walk . Their soup is very tasty and the scones with jam and cream are great! Almost all the staff know our dog as we have been there since he was a puppy and he always gets plenty treats from them!

Can't comment on the food but it's a nice little place with a family atmosphere. They've got food for the ducks too.
