We were camping locally and walked to the marina - Fabulous hospitality, a quiet drink from the bar on Saturday afternoon followed by a humongous breakfast on Sunday morning, just what a lazy weekend needed.

A fantastic short break with everything you need. Cozy, luxury, clean and spotless floating pods. Honestly the view and the tranquility in the área will make you clear your mind and feel recharged. Lots to do (if you wanted), very pod will give you the welcome with a manual were you can find important information as emergency numbers , attractions, or recommendations. And an extra…the lovely Bathhouse Bar with a friendly team who serves freshly delicious meals ( with a reasonable prices and huge portions).

A great place for a little break away. Spotless pod. Very dog friendly with treats left for him.Comfy bed. Must recommend the Boathouse cafe. Had a lovely evening meal here ribs in fantastic sauce with southern fried chicken. Partner had lamb stroganoff, with a few drinks and a cake £45. This morning a very hearty breakfast...The big boater at £8.75 was huge and easily do 2!!!

What a great find. An extensive marina adjacent to the Shropshire Union canal. Lots of on-site facilities for boaters including a chandlery, workshop and a licensed café bar. Very welcoming staff, friendly service and wonderful food. The café bar is very well presented with clean and well tended facilities. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the views and watch the (boating) world go by. A great place to while away some time and relax. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a great Birthday weekend away with the hubby and Barney the dog. What a great place to stay. The Floating Pod we stayed in was fantastic. We've had a very relaxing weekend and all of the staff have been brilliant from the moment we arrived until we left. The food in the Boathouse Cafe was delicious especially the Lasagne and the Fillet Medallions. We will definitely be visiting again 👍👌

Brilliant from start to finish. Very friendly welcome and all the staff and management were super friendly and helpful . The pod (Teal) was lovely and clean , warm and had everything we needed for a 2 night break , nice little en - suite and kitchenette and of course nice views over part of the marina . The bed was super comfy and we slept like logs. The cafe was also great , super food and well priced drinks to.probably the best ribs I've ever had , the chef is amazing. We will definitely return again as it's just what we needed a lovely relaxing break in a great location. The only downside is that I have now developed a massive boat envy issue after seeing some of the beauties moored there 😄.

A lovely peaceful place which seems to attract friendly people. The cafe also does a very nice selection of regular and vegetarian meals.

Really good staff and a nice meal. I can’t help thinking they’re missing a trick though We are on a boat and wanted to stock up with water etc but only boat hardware was stocked Shame because there’s nowhere else

A beautiful setting, but not geared for boaters! Good showers, but poor laundry facilities. Chandlery needs serious improvement!

The Marina is set in a lovely part of Cheshire with easy access to Chester and Whitchurch and close to Beeston and Peckforton Castles. The two Marina Managers are warm and welcoming will do their utmost to make you feel comfortable and valued. There is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the Boathouse where there is a bar and cafe with a wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, as well as delicious cakes and pastries.
