This is our favourite restaurant in Taunton. The food is high quality and it's not expensive for what you get.
My he had the Calzone (his fave, and you have to experience the blue cheese in it, really works). I had the gnocchi sugo di carne (not had this before, but perfect little potato dumplings in a meat sauce, lush).
It's a good idea to book as it's not that big and can fill up quickly.
Attentive service by an Italian family who really know good food.

Had a beautifully cooked meal at Little Italy on Saturday. It is intimate, and the menu is varied and so fresh . Much better than "branded" Italian restaurants. Totally recommend. Will be back.

Best italian in Taunton with a welcoming atmosphere and staff. We ordered 2 pizzas a d they were so good that as a dessert we ordered a third one. Homemade food prepared with care and attention to customer satisfaction. Just one waitress and one chef but still able to deliver great service for up to 20 people at the same time. We will come back.
Probably the most authentic Italian food in town, extremely tasty and fairly priced. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very friendly and cosy. If you have the chance to eat here, make sure to save some space for gelato! Their ice-cream is unreal!
Another FANTASTIC home cooked Italian lunch at Little Italy. This is the 3rd time we have eaten here and every dish has been great. Attentive and prompt service, great atmosphere and the deserts are also superb. Nobody in Somerset should go to a chain Italian whilst this place is open, great value with real flavour! Currently my favourite restaurant in the SW.
First visit today. Went for lunch: Garlic Bread with cheese as starter. Chicken Rissotto and Tagliatelle with mince beef and tomato sauce then Limoncello to finish our meal. Best Italian we have had. Will certainly be revisiting this Restaurant.

It is cosy, clean, lovely solid tables and chairs, doesn't play loud music. The service is outstanding, swift and attentive. The food is delicious, gorgeous pizzas and pasta, we will be back!
