5 years later the place doesn't disappoint. Everything is the same, atmosphere, music and food. Only 4 stars for food because it cools down too quickly and the grilled courgettes were raw. However, you are up for a lovely meat dinner!
I'd been told this place was worth visiting many times and finally booked it a couple of weeks ahead, we were not disappointed! Food was lovely and the waiting staff very friendly and accommodating. Meat came out on skewers that hung on the table and was really tasty. Will be booking again for sure.

The food was absolutely terrific! The flaming chaurizo was super delicious and also looked epic (the fire video), and both the beef and lamb skewers were also amazing! The house special cocktail is very yummy, but only if you are a fan of very sweet drinks.

Great service, friendly and professional! Loved all the skewers we tried (beef, pork and chicken) and the sides. They all come in big portions, so 1 skewer with 2 sides is more than enough for an average person. Highly recommended and will be visiting regularly.

First visit to the Skewer House and we didn't really know what to expect.
Really happy to find plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff, a minimal menu and some very tasty food.
Prices were reasonable and food arrived in good quantity.

Surprising gem absolutely amazing food and drink 100% would recommend. We stumbled in the backdoor and weren't quite sure but it was just so good. I'd recommend getting one special and one skewer with sides as a couple and that's plenty of food. The desserts were divine the skewer house special cock

Lovely traditional place, as it was full we had to wait to get a table but was fine, the bread was outstanding and the skewers as well as the dessert try the KitKat one you won’t regret.
Great food and large portions. Quick service, even on a busy Saturday evening. Something a bit different, nice atmosphere and good value. Definitely recommended.
Have wanted to visit here for a long time after many raving reviews from friends and finally managed it! Everything was lovely, prompt, fresh and delicious. Sharing with my friend meant it was also very affordable, would definitely return :)
Very good food, worth the price and felt like we were back in Madeira! The skeweres were stationed a little close together so it was a little hard to keep them away from the fish skewer as my partner is pescatarian. Maybe supply a skewer on its own to keep it away from the other meat ones? Lovely fo
