Went with my family for an evening meal. What a place. Wonderful environment. Warm and cosey atmosphere.
The service was 10/10
The food was 10.5/10.
Would well recommend and will definitely be going back again.
This Inn is exceptional! Really brilliant food and great staff. Thankyou for a great lunch yesterday folks! Really recommend this place!
Arrived in the bar to the warmest, friendliest welcome from the young staff. Given a choice of seating, presented with menus quickly and orders taken at the table. Good pub grub. Good quality produce, even the eggs came from their chickens roaming the garden. Well done. We would certainly return on our next visit to Somerset.
5 of us , + 1 dog (not dining) had a superb lunch. Lovely food, but large portions - which I didnt do justice to. Friendly staff.Highly recommended. Beautiful village. Will return
I was fortunate enough to be taken here for lunch yesterday with 3 friends who all live in Wiveliscombe. What a treasure of a place. A lovely friendly greeting on our arrival, it was a bitterly cold day but it was so cosy and warm inside. The wine was very drinkable and the food was delicious. Looking forward to returning here.
Another visit to the Bic this time an ruby wedding anniversary.Every one ate differently food/ service fab as always.Becoming the only place to eat.
Carvery today was yummy and very well organised, great service and, oh my goodness....the desserts are to die for ☆☆☆☆☆ xx
Lovely meal. We both had a steak. Best if had in a long time. Lovely setting. The staff were very nice & helpfull. Nothing bad to say
Very welcoming even with a large fluffy dog that had just crossed the moor. Excellent food & service. Thank You
Excellent service and wonderful food! A fantastic family meal. We will definitely be returning.
Best pub around. Often pop in just for a drink. Always made welcome. Excellent food and service. Dogs very welcome too.
Great food, great service and great value - especially, the home made steak and ale pie
One of the best pubs I have ever been to & the food is outstanding!
Lovely, cosy and very relaxed old meets modern Inn, fabulous food highly recommended!
Friendly pub with huge portions of really tasty food!! Will be back!
Highly recommended. Staying nearby, so thought we give it a try, staff very friendly, nice beer, food was lovely and good sized portions.
Staff made a fuss of our dog, gave her several pieces of steak as a treat, happy dog 😊
Our new local pub . We had dinner there on Sunday and it was lovely, Pork and Apple burger for me and the Beef curry for my wife, both were delicious. I have a feeling we'll be eating there a lot!
We had a lovely meal everything was beautifully cooked the ladies that cooked and served us were lovely people.lovely pub,dog friendly they even gave us treats for the dogs 🐕
This was my first visit to the Bicknoller inn and it certainly won't be the last time. When we (four of us) arrived the Landlady greeted my two friends who live in the village and turned her attention to my wife and I, introducing her self and welcoming us to the pub. All in all the time we spent there, was welcoming and relaxing. Five stars all the way
Beautiful building. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy a drink. Plenty of seating inside and out. Clean toilets and lovely staff. What's not to like?
Lovely pub, wonderful customer service and very dog friendly.
We stopped for a lunch time meal and a pint.
Very glad we found you on our route.
A wonderful carvery.
Season vegetables and perfect meat..shall return.
Arrived on a Sunday for food so only carvery available but this was plentiful with 3 delicious meat selections and a huge selection of vegetables.
A well stocked and looked after bar with friendly welcome.
You will need your cheque book
Nice old country pub with a newer restaurant area, managing to combine the two things well.
Good value food served by friendly, attentive staff.
Despite being very busy, they managed to squeeze us in.
Excellent food (minted lamb steaks, and prawns) excellent service.
Lovely little pub great food great beer great atmosphere what more do u want
Lovely lunch, just exactly what was needed today. Thanks ☺️
We were looking for somewhere local to have lunch while staying in a holiday cottage nearby and came across this wonderful place! A warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food & drinks in a lovely traditional atmosphere, perfect!
We're hoping to go again tomorrow evening as it's curry night!
Nice country pub with a good range of food.
I popped in on the way back from a day out at the waterfall nearby and was pleasantly surprised. Despite not having a reservation (and coming in at a busy time in the early evening) they managed to fit us in.
The general vibe of this place is relaxed and the bar is just far enough from the restaurant area that the volume is kept to a minimum. There was a good, roaring fire which was well received as it was freezing outside!
Bonus points for the two cute dogs behind the bar 🐶🐶
We were looking for somewhere to get lunch on the way back from Watchet (which we had found very disappointing) and saw the banner at the side of the A358.
Despite being in the middle of a refurbishment we were welcomed very warmly, offered drinks and shown to an outside table with the menu. There was a wide choice of food, service was very good and the food was excellent . The burger with cheese and bacon was worth a special mention - moist and very tasty, and the onion rings were the crispiest ever!
Well worth a visit and definitely recommended.
Great Sunday roast and very nice people.
We came here for a meal while on holiday, the staff were friendly and inviting as soon as we walked through the door. Both my wife and I ordered fillet steak which was the best we have had for a long time (which is saying something considering we recently ate at a Miller and carter). Our 3 year old was with us and the staff were good with her and the chef gave her a big smile which was a nice touch. We would happily eat here again when we visit the area again.
Good food, very friendly service.
