Rumwell Farm Shop And Cafe

We have just had a carvery at the Rumwell cafe it is by far the best tasting one we have had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well done we recommend this meal �

Lovely spot. Delicious food in cafe. The shop has superb range. On road nearby is a man who has for many years produced carved wood garden ornaments I bought 2 herons.

I visited both the cafe and farm shop today for the first time and loved both! The cafe was great…. I ordered garlic mushrooms and they were delicious. Patricia was my server and she was excellent! A real credit to the team. Look forward to returning soon!

Lovely meal, there were no free tables inside as we didn't book so we were happy to sit outside. It started to rain but we found a protected table. The staff came out as they had managed to sort out a free table so we come inside and eat Although we could have stayed outside, it was nice to be able to go in.

Massive car park with disabled spaces right next to the doors means parking and access shouldn’t be an issue. For the cafe breakfast is served until 1130 with the main lunch menu starting at 1200. We went for lunch and hadn’t booked which was a risk, we got away with it being shown to a table for 4. On arrival we were greeted enthusiastically by a member of staff and seated straight away. The cafe is large and spacious we liked the fact you don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of people at other tables. There is extensive outdoor seating, a climbing frame for children and it looked like they were half way through a project to extend some covered outdoor seating as well. Wifi in the cafe is available but the mobile signal was also great if you can’t bear to be disconnected at the table. The menu was great with a lot of options available from toasted sandwiches, to sandwiches, to pasta dishes, fish n chips alongside many other options. The drinks menu was just as extensive with a variety of hot chocolates available alongside various coffees, smoothies, milkshakes and the standard fizzy soft drinks. At the counter there was a great selection of cakes and pastries meaning everyone should find something to eat and drink no matter their mood or occasion as far as I can see. Service from the staff was excellent, fast efficient, friendly and also very thoughtful about serving requirements based on different preferences and tolerances. Tom was our waiter, excellent service from him! The food itself was also amazing! I chose to have the turkey and cranberry sandwiches on their home made granary bread which was lovely! My wife had a burger which she adjusted to remove the tomato’s. I also had the green energiser smoothie which was absolutely amazing, and a mocha. Afterwards we went into the shop which was excellently stocked. The choice and variety was excellent. Based on this experience I would totally recommend a visit for a meal in the cafe and also certainly recommend you check out the shop.

What a find! Absolutely loved this place. We went for lunch and couldn't fault the place. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic.
