Fantastic food this evening. I have not been to the resturant in ages like 8 years and got take away this evening. Went and collected speaking to the owner who was great. When we got home the food was super hot, not greasy at all and full of flavour. I like the touches of the larger vegetables. I am a massive dal and chapati fan and these where both exeptional. Will defo be going back and would reccomend for your next curry for sure.

Quiet on a Friday night but nice décor and friendly and efficient staff. 5 of us and we all enjoyed our food selections. 2 of us had Devil's Tamarind, 1 lamb, 1 chicken. Gorgeous. Not a spicy dish despite the name, but great flavour and not one I had had before. Can't remember the other dishes but all impressed. Pappadoms with bits, main, coconut rice, large beer and tip: £28. Maybe not the cheapest but very enjoyable. I would recommend to a friend!

We have always enjoyed visiting blue mango as a large family. During lockdown they have literally been a god send. We have ordered weekly and every single time its on point. Each dish is authentic and wonderful. The staff are friendly and deliveries always on time. The food is truly consistently amazing!

Managed to get the last table for Valentines night so they were mega busy.
Food was absolutely lovely. Pretty big portions (the chilli chicken on the bone would easily have served two).

I was told by the friendly hotel staff of the nearby Corner House Hotel that the Blue Mango was a popular place and only 200 yards away.
So I walked up the hill on that balmy summer evening to find a building that seemed to have no door. But I figured it was around the corner, and I was ushered into a nice banquette table by the window.
I am the bane of South Asian restaurants as I can't stand any chilli at all. But my Prawn Balti did the trick, along with Brinjal Bhaji and plain rice. And of course, I couldn't resist a few pappadums with the trimmings to start.
And there seems to be some ( limited) parking just by that elusive back door..

Excellent food. Definitely the best place in Taunton and it was so good we went there twice! If you're a fan of Asian food, you definitely must go. Ask for the lamb curry, you won't regret it!

Had a meal here with the family and had a very enjoyable time. Me and my partner shared the Kata Chicken Masala and Devils Chicken Tamarind both for £8-90 and both quite delicious. Service was friendly and 'unhurried', the waiter offered all seven of us a drink on the house which I thought was a nice small touch to finish a very pleasant evening.
(could have done without the dance music in the background earlier on though, not what you'd expect in a quite classy Indian restaurant)

Lovely atmosphere and the chicken Mocha is to die for! Best mango dip with popadums you are ever going to taste. The peswari naan bread is so delicious it could almost be a dessert. Just to top it off the ladies loos are very nice and I think you can tell a lot about a place by their customer lavatories. Even though the restaurant was busy the waiters were still smiling and friendly. Totally rate it!

The rating relates to a service issue not the food; I would wax lyrical about how lovely the food is; alas tonight I'm left hungry and the only taste in my mouth is bitter!
Ordered online as we usually do and was satisfied with the 45 min estimate on our food. Then an hour passed so my wife called to check on the order only to be told "We're really busy here what do you want me to do about it?". Well here's an idea; give a realistic time, then we could've chosen elsewhere and you'd not have lost custom tonight. He told us that it would then arrive in another 15 mins; to which we asked would there be a discount to reflect the late arrival (I'll take this opportunity to state that they have NEVER delivered by the time stated on the website). The 15 minutes passed; and on checking a second time we were told they were going to call the driver to ask where he was, didn't get a reply; another fifteen minutes passed and WE called again. This time we were offered either some beer or a £7.20 discount............45 minutes late (with no delivery forecast!!) and we get £7.20.
It was then that my wife said that simply isn't acceptable, his reply was well then I'll cancel the order! Off you go then son; and you're now two customers down. I would rather drive out to the Lopen Raj than put any more money over your counter.
I know you have many happy customers; but continue in this manner and you won't. Appalling.

you cannot polish a turd! We waited nearly and hour and a half for food. Phoned 3 times to chase and on the last call the restaurant cancelled the order after I said a £7.20 reduction wasn't good enough as the internet suggested a 45 min wait. I've been a regular customer and I will NEVER order again. Customer service should be a priority, it is not. Rude and arrogant. If you can't handle being busy you're in the wrong business. You won't be busy if you continue to be like this with your customers. Disgraceful, hang your head in shame....

Big mistake, it's awful. Food is bland and the texture is horrible and very watery. Very disappointed. Definitely won't be returning.

I had heard very good reports of their meals so checked online for delivery. It stated delivery within 5 miles, my address is 5.5 miles away so I went on the online chat and asked someone called Alex if the Blue Mango delivered to my address. I was told by Alex yes this was correct as long as the order was over £20.
I put my order through online and received a call from a very arrogant man a few minutes later advising me that they did not deliver to me as I am over the 4 miles and what I had seen was wrong. Erm, no it is not it is on your website and I still had the transcript of the conversation in front of me.
I could only have the food delivered if I paid another £5 on top of the order.
Mr arrogant and rude would not accept his website and staff who do his chat were wrong and just kept talking over me.
I will happily take my custom elsewhere than give money to these arseholes!
