Beautiful Christmas meal for a fussy party of 26. Food is obviously hand prepared by somebody who knows what they are doing! Fantastic baked Camembert starter, times to perfection. Beautiful tender moist turkey with flavour, side veg was perfect, all the trimmings too. My desert was the Bailey's Mousse, but everybody commented on the high quality of the food. Friendly helpful staff both at table & the bar, and even some spontaneous Live music from one of the guests afterwards. A perfect evening out, highly recommended. If I could change one thing, put the gravy separate on a plated meal. 5 starts very well earned, will certainly return, thank you 🤗🤗
A last minute find for a Sunday lunch, we were squeezed in. A very lovely warm atmosphere generated by all the staff, whoo made us feel at home. Thanks. The food was a set roast which was perfect for a Sunday, lovely fresh veggies complemented a well cooked lamb or beef main. As a new business they are doing well. A good typical selection of puddings finished of a lovely meal.
This pub was a beacon of light during our (me and my friends desperately needing a pint on a Sunday evening whilst travelling home) darkest hour. It’s also beautiful and there was a pony in the garden. Xxx

Friendly staff, clean. Toilets clean, nice hand wash and hand cream supplied too which was nice.
Only had a couple pints but enjoyed my visit. It’s been my local for years but this was my first visit under new management.
Lovely cosy pub. Friendly chap took our orders. The food itself didn't take long and was delicious. The owner was super friendly, we had a nice chat before leaving. Will definitely be back, this pub needs to be supported!

All meals enjoyed ,and delivered very close together ,so no waiting for the last lunhes ,to arrive .

the Sunday roast was great, the beef was cooked perfectly and the service was also really good.
Popped into the Half Moon Inn on our way home from a refreshing long walk so had worked up a appetite, didn't notice the times of service which had just ended the time we got there but the lady kindly still offered us a roast which was delicious! Brilliant customer service and yummy food! Thank you.....
