Best Sunday dinner in a long time, will definitely be eating there again before we leave, staff so down to earth as well so a big thumbs up

Walked 2 miles from our holiday cottage to the Lowtrow Cross Inn. We got there just as the owner pulled up. Unfortunately he said they were closed, but to our surprise he opened up for us. I had the best Chicken & mushroom pie I have ever tasted. This pub is in it's last week of business, very sad another great Britush pub closing.

This is a pub with everything that I look for in a country pub. Great atmosphere excellent friendly staff, good selection of drinks, however, most important fantastic home cooked food
Had a Christmas 3 course meal yesterday and it was absolutely superb. See the photos. I have used this pub in the past for celebrating birthdays with friends and the food has always been excellent
I also enjoy the Sunday roast which is excellent value for money

Lovely secluded pub with lovely people. We had a very nice lunch there and a Sunday roast. Both meals were excellent and the portion sizes are very impressive. Highly recommended!

First live gig for 18 months, Stay Lucky, local band of oldies (my brother in law being one of them so I can say that hahaha) held in this pub last night, absolutely brilliant night, everyone was up dancing, few encores were given, what a perfect start to hopefully getting back to normal. First time there, will definitely eat next time, looked great.
