My partner surprised me with going here for late lunch, after hearing good things, as he knows Greek food is my favourite! It was definitely a good surprise. What a lovely Little place! Don't just judge it for its location!! It's only been open for a month, yet they have great review's! Didn't disappoint us. Great tasty authentic food, at an affordable price. Even had the fizzy drinks you would get on a Greek holiday! Friendly and polite staff. Definitely be returning. They even have take away or delivery!
My husband and I popped in for lunch after it was recommended to us and we had a fabulous lunch ! The pork Souvlaki was very good as was the chicken, halloumi was yummy and the homemade baklava we took home was the best ever!! I would recommend anyone try this great little place for lunch !!
Latest edit: ate here plenty of times and I can't seem to have enough of their food! Absolutely love the food, extremely tasty and very authentic. The atmosphere is always cosy and friendly, and the service is impeccable every time!
Previous edit: Went twice this week there with two different friends. Both of them absolutely loved it! Food was very tasty and portions are amazing! And it's impressive how just one person handles everything, cooking, sitting/greeting people, cleans tables plus deals with takes aways. Both girls that work there are living legends!
Amazing meal this evening…Great service and lovely welcoming staff and ambiance.. Entree and Mains with soft drinks, Greek larger Mythos and a large glass of medium white.. Managed to get a place last minute Thursday Evening Highly recommend reserving..

Really, really impressed with Papas Taste. First time visit today for my birthday and the staff could not have been more attentive, really welcoming and chatty. I’ve always loved Greek food, pork Gyros being a favourite - this was real authentic Greek cuisine and atmosphere. Upbeat but cosy and delicious. The menu was great and catered for everyone, and also explains well what each option actually is - really helpful when it comes to some of the more traditional dishes!
All in all, Papas Taste absolutely deserves the 5* rating I’ve given them and I will be back, fingers crossed they stay!
Absolutely amazing proper Greek food. All our party ate different dishes and everyone was delighted with their food. The staff were brilliant also. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Popped in for a Greek salad at lunch time. Table for one. Very friendly. Lovely salad. Have previously been for a gyros. Massive portions, delicious food. Best Greek food I've had in somerset!
A very pleasant lunch with my wife. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. The waiter was attentive without being in your face or pushy. I would recommend to anyone.
Can't fault it, yummy food, not a chain so an one off and staff really lovely. I think everyone should cross the road from Nandos and give this local business a chance. So much better
Decided to try this (quite new) restaurant to, really pleased that we did. Staff all lovely, welcoming, efficient and everything we could wish for. Food really lovely, bigger portions than we expected. Authentic Greek food, lovely. We'll definitely go again
