Had an amazing meal at this pub two lunchtimes on the trot it was so good. Both service and meal. we’re excellent, just what we were looking for on our short visit to Taunton. Wished we lived nearer. Also a great atmosphere. We had seafood chowder and blade of beef first day both excellent and on second visit the venison and a rib eye. Good pint and nice crisp sauvignon blanc 😊

Went to The Ring of Bells for the first time today, we were a party of 4 and we all had the Sunday roast. The food was excellent as was the service, we’ll definitely be going back.

Great pub just off the main shopping area of Taunton. We were a party of eight, sat on the same table comfortably.
Sunday roast was great, my wife had the crab and was very happy. Afterwards we retired to the outside area at the back as it was cooler. Attentive and friendly team, we really enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic place. Great food - quality matches the price. Can tell it’s fresh and made to order. Chips in particular were notably tasty. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and lots of outdoor seating. Good to see card only! Will definitely visit again

A lovely pub with a wonderful, warm welcome and gorgeous smoke-free beer garden/outside dining area. We opted for the beer-battered fish and it was to die for. Service was fantastic - American standard - and the beer and atmosphere were great. Can’t recommend enough.

Went for a Sunday roast here with seven of us. All the staff were great from the booking to the end of the meal, and the food was amazing. Best roast I've had in three years of living in Somerset.

Nice pub with a decent outdoor space, and a wide selection of beers. The fact it's table service only is a bit weird, lots of staff constantly buzzing around does change the atmosphere. That said, the service was good and swift.

I had an amazing vegetarian meal here last night. My husband had chicken which was beautifully presented. Service was very good as was the atmosphere. Wish we lived in the area would certainly be using this as my go-to restaurant. Thank you
