Besides potatoes tasted really weird in a bad way, Sunday roast is good. Very cosy for watching sports, but obviously they need more waiters/waitress to serve. Dog friendly. Toilet is clean. Lots parking space.
Hadn't reserved a table but they went out of their way to find us one! Super service. Spacious and bright interior, very quaint with a modern twist. Menus very varied, something for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian options. I had pie of the day, beef, which was scrumptious. My partner had sirloin, and he wasn't disappointed as you can be when ordering steak. Superb lunch as we only dropped by on the off chance!
Enjoyable Sunday lunch. Staff were very attentive and very polite. Sunday roast was a reasonable portion, could have been hotter but would go again. Beef wasn't tough but the knives weren't great which didn't help. Thanks
Second time in The New Mill whilst visiting family and found a different menu to last time. The duck and hoisin pizza stood out for me, the garlic butter crust was a delicious twist. Customer service was again attentive and friendly. See you in another couple of months.
First visit we stopped for a drink, there was five of us so we pulled up a chair from another table. Only to promptly have it taken off us and made to sit on an uncomfortable stool “Incase someone else comes in” errr hold on, someone is already in. Me. Do I not deserve a comfortable chair? Anyway we decided to give them a second chance and went for dinner the next night. They were really courteous of our guests onion Allergy & the food was delicious (although the sweet potatoe fries were burnt). The waitress from California was very polite and helpful.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all you and your team did for us Saturday night. Our parents thoroughly enjoyed their golden wedding anniversary meal. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding, we were very well looked after and your team were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

There is nothing to improve on - the quality of food and drink was excellent and very high value for money. Staff on duty were all excellent. It would not be right to single out any member of the team as they were all friendly, professional, customer focused and hard working - well done!
"Wow, it's been ages since we graced this joint, but my cousin and her better half lured us in. First things first, the vibes? Totally on point! The staff? Friendlier than your grandma's hugs. This place is massive, folks – you can munch and lounge in the bar area like it's your living room, and they've even got a 'no dogs allowed' zone for the canine-phobic.
Now, let's talk grub. The food? As epic as a superhero blockbuster! Although, I have to admit, the linguine portion was like the runt of the family compared to the other dishes. Still, I'm willing to forgive them because I'm already plotting my return. So yeah, consider this joint recommended with a side of 'can't wait to be back!'" 🍝🍻😄
We stopped off from the traffic on the M5 where there had been a bad accident and road closure. We were told it had been busy all day because of this. We found a table and the staff were very helpful and friendly despite the situation. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly and was extremely nice. The staff must have been tired but they were still all happy and nothing was too much trouble the service was great.
