Fantastic food, a superb cheese ploughman’s and mixed fish salad, lovely relaxing quiet location, cannot hear any traffic. Staff were amazing and attentive, perfect place for a stop for a lovely bite to eat, the full English breakfast on the menu looks devine so we’ll be going back!
Always a wonderful welcome at the Smokery. A great range of produce on sale as well as good food and drinks if you wanted to sit in for lunch or a morning coffee. The staff are always friendly. Plenty of parking. I would recommend as a destination for foodies and for that naughty treat.
This is one of our favourite places to visit, food is always superb, we were a little disappointed yesterday with the staff serving which was very slow compared to normal.The young man serving us gave a rather curt reply when we requested more dressing for our four salads saying “that’s the last of it!! “All the cakes were packed away at just after 2:30 but luckily being a regular I know what’s on offer. It is a small criticism but needs addressing 😉🙂
Love going there, I have had only ever had (recently) one over smoked fish. I did mention it today. And will find out what the outcome is when the staff pass on my comments (small) criticism to manager/staff that have to be informed. Otherwise, really love going there.

Delicious baguettes, although I couldn't finish mine & a lovely member of staff wrapped it up in foil for me to take home.

A delicious lunch - quiche, garlic new potatoes and salad followed by golden syrup bread and butter pudding. Everything was fresh, well cooked and served by friendly and attentive staff. Such a lovely place.
Love this place, always a great stop to take friends and family, oh and to stock up the cupboard! The smoked trout is amazing, and personally i always leave with oodles of smoked black pudding, add it to creamy mashed potato or crumble on a salad!
