Nice bar with a nice decor. Nice range of beers and cider. The building itself is well maintained and the service is good. Good place for a business meeting or drinks with colleagues and friends. Has a nice beer garden overlooking the castle and museum.
Pieminister pies! Best pie I have ever tasted! I had the Moodog pie and 20 min later I still have the flavors lingering in my mouth! Pub is clean and tidy, service was quick and polite. Will be back! They even do takeaway pies!

Live music which suited a 30 something year old, vibrant atmosphere and plenty of seating.
When you're getting older this is pretty much all you want.
