Miller & Carter Taunton

Book in advance recommended. Really good tasting steak cooked really well. A wait for food and drinks to arrive, don't book if in any kind of rush. I'd say it's worth the wait. Pricing is high, but good food for a treat or special occasion. 3rd time now, had the butcher's block. Very good, fillet, ribeye still the best, rump still the worst cut or beef in my opinion. Plenty to eat, you won't leave hungry. Overall worth going for sure.

One of the best burgers I had in my life. Meat was simply perfect and cheese was amazing. Crashed potatoes as a side. My gf had a salad which was disappointing because the iceberg lettuce was not cut properly and the amount of food was simply not enough for £12.50. Good atmosphere and menu if you love meat in all its forms. Vegans stay away please

Dropped in here ad hoc at the end of the afternoon on 13th September. No booking necessary. Shown to table straightaway by very pleasant member of staff. Waitress Sam came very quickly to take drinks order leaving us time to choose food. Wide choice of steaks for main course but we chose sea bass which was absolutely delicious having had some really lovely cheese baked mushrooms as a starter. All topped off with yummy desserts and coffee. Staff all very welcoming and pleasant. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Discount given for blue light card owners which was a bonus. Would thoroughly recommend and we will be back!

We are not new to Miller and Carter Steakhouse, this was first time we been to Taunton one tho. We were bit nervous of it will be as good as others and it didn't disappoint! I was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance and I was happy to see they do have separate gluten free menu! Food was delicious as always and steak was done just as I wanted it. Sticky toffee pudding *chefs kiss* best one I ever had!! Lovely atmosphere, plenty of parking, friendly staff. The only thing I would say, that you should inforce the dress code more strictly as it was a bit unpleasant to see 2 men sat right next to us wearing muscle vest and ripped jean shorts, that definitely doesn't fall under "smart casual", looked more like they just finished work at the building site.
