Took the family for sit-in fish and chips on the 1st night of our holiday. Top notch food, very accommodating and excellent service. Would definitely recommend if you love quality fish and chips.

Pre Ordered a take away and I was slightly late picking it up but it was totally worth it. Had visitors staying from abroad who really wanted a proper fish and chip supper and Mickeys Plaice didn’t disappoint. Was still hot when we got it home and it was soo good. Staff were friendly and efficient too on telephone and in person.

Perfect fish and chip cafe! We felt lucky to stumble across Mickey's Place whilst holidaying. What a great little cafe. They welcomed our dog with water and a bowl of freshly cooked cod! The waitress was really friendly and welcoming. The cafe felt spacious, clean and fresh (not at all greasy as some chip cafes can do). The food was great and as with the previous review they were attentive to our daughter's nut allergy. Highly recommend :)

Great friendly staff, quick service and the Food is classic British Fish and Chips with no faults. An extensive menu so if you want something a bit more outside the box they have it. Ide recommended the spicy chicken burger. Forget kfc, go local.

Best Fish & Chip shop in Tavistock.
Excellent for gluten free and brilliant understanding of how to avoid cross contamination for coeliac customers and those with allergies. The young man in charge of frying produces food of consistently high standard. Overall five stars. Keep up the good work :)

Had fish and chips last night and it was nothing short of outstanding. If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. The fish was fresh and a good size and the chips were amazing. The 2 girls serving were really polite and efficient. Would have to agree with earlier review that it does depend who's frying but based on last nights food not sure anyone in Tavistock would need to go anywhere else for their weekly fish and chip fix.
