I’ve always wanted to eat here as I’ve heard a lot of good things about the food.
It was a rainy morning so I had to wait a short while for a table but literally 2-3 mins. They have lots of tables and plenary of waiting staff.
I had what is called the full herd! (Full English Breakfast) 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs (mine I had poached but fried or scrambled is an option), 2 bread, mushrooms, tomato, beans and black pudding. I’m pretty sure this is the only my cafe in teddington that does black pudding also. I love black pudding! It’s my fave!
Anyway it was delicious!!
Came out really quick and piping hot! I really enjoyed it!

Ever since me and my partner discovered this cafe we have been going back so many times I’ve lost count. Their full breakfast is one of the best, the scrambled eggs are just so creamy and I love their chorizo. Other dishes like eggs Benedict are also super delicious too. However If there’s anything that can be changed or improved is their menu size, i get that when you have a smaller menu you can focus on doing each to the best but it’s so limited that’s I have almost tried everything and I want to go back and try something different. Also the tables can be cleaned a bit better between each service.

Great find. Lovely cafe on the busy high street.. Modern clean interior. Contemporary design. Busy but able to find a table.. Staff very attentive and apologetic for our delay.. Great menu. Short wait for food and coffee and excellent service.. No pressure to leave after we had eaten. Will definitely make a return visit in the near future.

My go-to in Teddington for brunch - the cafe has a really nice atmosphere and a superb breakfast selection made with good produce. There’s a great selection of homemade cakes there too, which you can take away if you don’t have room for it at the time!
Great little cafe, highly recommended.

Good value, quality food. Not sure about the homemade baked beans. They need to look at their payment process, 5 minutes to pay the bill.

Theres just something about this cafe!
Funny enough as when you walk in the layout is slighly overwhelming sometimes but durable as its a rectangular space so you forget about the people and the busyness when seated as you focus on your drink/ food.
Coffee is fantastic! And the food is Lush!
Staff are all friendly and always recommending it.

Had a good breakfast with party of 4 , nice generous portions and fresh. Would recommend this place. Can be busy so you may have to wait for seat.

Absolutely great breakfast foods. Very much a hipster vibe. Offer a wide selection of Kombucha as well as turmeric lattes, also dog friendly. I had the fallow deer breakfast twice during my 4-day stay. So yeah I liked it. Also great gluten-free options.

Best fry up ever bought, really good. £12.50 is steep but inc hot drink and ingredients are quality, will go back!

I really liked what this place was trying to achieve
It seemed local, friendly with an essence of "hipster community"
It does get busy, and image the kitchen gets a bit stretched, but this is the price you pay for being popular. When the food arrived it was worth the wait. Good quality ingredients with not one but two types of sausage! Beautifully poached eggs and the homemade beans were a nice touch. Would recommend and will definitely try them for a dinner / gin evening.

Lovely tea and cake. Late in the day and a group of us, but staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. My cheesecake was divine. A perfect tea stop to end to a summer's day.

Welsh rarebit was as always very good, salmon and scrambled eggs look very nice, but the burger.... was the best I have had for a long time! Perfect. Coffee good too and attentive staff. All good. Thank you. We will be back for some more for sure.

Lovely cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. My only request to management would be to have more vegan options, the menu could be improved and more diverse plant based options could be added.

Would have been 5 for food but thought the honey made the Banana bread, yogurt and fruit just alittle to sweet. But would highly recommend as an eatery.

Recommended by a friend and we're back for a 2nd, 3rd and 4th visit! Homemade fish finger butty to die for and tasty and wide choice available for breakfast! When back, we'll be back! =D

The only good thing about Teddington is The Fallow Deer. Fabulous place with wonderful staff and fantastic food and atmosphere. Every town should have one.
Debbie Costello
Really disappointed, as the food is usually good, but a simple bacon sandwich was below standard and service poor.

I love this place so much. We just nipped in for a hot chocolate and cake for my daughters birthday. They were so kind to the kids, put a candle in the hot chocolate and sang to her!

Arrived to a queue and was given a sensible warning on waiting time, which meant we weren’t disappointed. In fact, we got a table quite quickly and were served with our hot drinks and food very quickly, which was all super tasty! We had the Eggs Fallow and Veggie Breakfast, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Delicious, shame I’m not a little more local!

We loved it! So nice to see a tea room with such style and class! Fab decor, very friendly staff and yummy food. Please, please open one in Twickenham! We desperately need a good, independent coffee shop!
Darren Lyons
Really nice food staff were friendly in a lovely chilled atmosphere to start the day

The best cafe in a wide radius. Breakfasts, brunches and lunches are superb....try the Eggs Fallow! Full Herd also excellent, although helps to have run a marathon first. Fab coffee and delightful waiting team. Love that my dog is always welcome too. Watch out - it gets super busy at weekend (and weekday) peak times but fast service usually means wait isn't to long.

Love this place! The staff are always friendly and fun. Great for a coffee in the morning or a cheeky cocktail on a Friday night!

Had lunch there on a Saturday. Burgers were delicious and coffees were top notch. The place gets very busy during lunchtime, but the service is fast anyway. Will come again

Great atmosphere and decor in the Fallow Deer. The coffee is great and I love the eclectic mix of vintage cups, saucers and mugs. The brownies are really nice but you should try the Orange & pistachio cake, a really unusual but amazing bit of baking!
Alexis Liming
Super impressed by this place. Really care about everything on the menu and it shows. Tasty coffees and the avocado and egg on sourdough was superb. Only let down was the muffins for the eggs royals...but that's nitpicking!!
