An absolute gem, great pub and the food was excellent the whole family loved it would definitely be our go to place for lunch whenever were in Teignmouth
Visited on a Sunday lunch. Had no idea how busy it would be out of season. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and kept us regularly updated as to the situation, despite the fact they were obviously full. Drinks really well priced and the food was absolutely superb. Cannot wait to go
We wanted somewhere to have a Sunday roast over the bank holiday and Ye Olde Jolly Sailor didn't disappoint. The pub is gorgeous, with a lovely beer garden at the front and then wooden beams and a low roof inside. A truly gorgeous British pub. Being extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon over the Ban
Good, cheap food. Dog friendly pub. I recommend :)
Very popular old pub in the middle of Teignmouth. Accommodating and unpretentious, parts were lucky to survive a French sacking of the town in the 1600s. It's extended into the adjoining building since then. Good selection of beers and a good menu. Plenty of seating inside, and a small courtyard out
nice little pub with a good menu. not LOADs of veggie options but a few - there was a vegan breakfast down on the menu but when i asked to order it staff were confused and said it didn't exist! in the end i had to explain what THEY could do to make the food vegan, which wasn't great! food was good t
Staff friendly and very helpful, great atmosphere and beautiful building. Food prices very reasonable. Altogether a great pub

Busy pub with great atmosphere. Good all round pub menu with nice seafood options. Very reasonably priced and good value for money. Even with a slight mix up with our order the staff were very quick to rectify once it was realised and gave us a discount to compensate. Would definitely recommend
A really friendly place, with good food. Found this place today hidden away off the main street...really enjoyed our quick stop here, the food was served hot. We didn't have our dog although dog friendly as well.Highly recommended👍
Got to say this little gem in Teignmouth Town centre is a must if you want some really decent pub grub. All day breakfast was exceptional. Wife had Fried chicken burger, and my mother had the Lasagne, we all left empty plates. The staff were absolutely delightful, very friendly and extremely help
We were in Dawlish Warren and thought we would call for food somewhere before returning home. Ringing ahead, we spoke to Kieron who told us a table would be free for 2 adults and a canine. We arrived and were guided to our table, the venue Wass warm, inviting and cosy. There were people of all ages
Interior is dark, good beer garden We had roasts, lots of roast potatoes, parsnip and meat, 4 veg, only gripe is gravy is on the food when it's brought out, not in a gravy boat, we enjoyed the meal, staff really hard working and cheerful
A pub with good food. Interior a bit dark but cool on a very warm day. Eating outside at the back of the pub you have to be mindful of the seagulls waiting to swoop down for the food.
We dived in here out of the rain and it was so good we stayed. Friendly service and good food, particularly the beef and ale pie though less so the plaice. Great option to order online, who needs Brexitspoons?!
Busy place as expected because this place is brilliant! Great food and speedy service. We sat in the back garden but there are loads of people enjoying themselves out the front. Perfect place for a fish and chips.
Fantastic food. We had a variety of meals. All beautifully cooked. Gorgeous veg with the roast dinner.
In Teignmouth for a short break over Easter and found this pop by chance. Most of the tables were reserved but we managed to find a table for two. Had a drink then decided to stay for dinner. My husband had garlic mushrooms and I had the calamari to start and we both had the fish and chips for our
