Fantastic Opening!. The Jewel in the Crown, is a huge improvement on the previous restaurant the Last Raj. I popped in on a whim, hearing it had been taken over and refurbished. Boy what a vast improvement! The manager was keen to show me around the restaurant and explain what improvements had been made. I ordered my take away and headed home, the food was also impressive, great food, good prices. I'll be finding an excuse to eat there again!
This is my favourite takeout indian, my favourite dish is the chicken jalfrezi balti it is so flavoursome and is packed full of fresh ingredients. Recently ate in and it was clean and welcoming and food was amazing. Nice family run establishment.
