Amazing restaurant and the food is divine esp if your on a hot date with your fiancee .....second visit to Tenby and second visit to the Baytree, this was on our must place to visit on our return ....and it didn't disappoint... staff was very friendly and not your face which is pleasant.... I would recommend the Baytree to anyone who likes good food ....best advice I can give is ... book a table... it's worth it
I recommend to book in advance to guarantee a table.
The welcome was friendly and pleasant.
The Service was timely,as you would expect, even though the restaurant was full.
The food was delicious, highly recommend the Seafood Medley (not for the faint hearted).
My only criticism, the single tables for couples are a tad small. Overall, great place to eat
We ate at the Baytree last night (20th October) It was the Grill Night menu. I had the Cajun salmon, it was a big piece and cooked to perfection, stunning! My partner had Chinese Pork steaks, he normally has steak, and he wasn't disappointed at all. The staff were friendly, and attentive, and the overall ambience with the acoustic music was lovely. We always eat at the Baytree when we stay in Tenby and are never disappointed. Highly recommend! Lisa and Simon from Hereford.

Haven't been here for about 8 years but tried again last night. Luckily we had booked as people were being turned away as was fully booked. The food was amazing and the gins were too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
Definitely worth a 5 star rating, they welcomed me, my partner and our 10 month old in a pushchair for evening dining, staff were happy and friendly and the chef knew how to cook a steak, pink, no blood and still hot! The Wife had a tuna steak, both meals were very well presented and perfect size portions. I would definitely recommed this restaurant.
A lovely lunch had this past Saturday. Varied menu, excellent value for money and all served with a smile. Portions very generous. Will definitely be back to sample the evening menu, as that looked delicious. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Twelve of us walked in on a busy Sunday, with no reservation, and not only did the staff manage to accommodate us straight away, the service was second to none, and the food fantastic. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere here this evening with live music, mains were great especially the lamb along with cheesy garlic potatoes. The deserts however especially the lemon cheese cake and chocolate brownie not so good. But overall a great night and will be back. Service on point 👌🏼
Had a lovely meal here for my step-dad's birthday! The sauces, such as the red wine jus, was out of this world, shiny, sticky, thick and had amazing flavour. Staff were so welcoming and really made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!
I attempted to get a table without booking which was unfortunately not successful so I decided to book and it was very worth it. Me and my family had a 3 course meal including the soup of the day, which was exquisite, halloumi stacks, which were perfectly seasoned and chocolate fudge cake. The staff were welcoming and efficient. I read a review saying the portion sizes were not for the weak and that is certainly true, so keep that In mind when ordering. I would recommend this restaurant.
What a fabulous, cosy restaurant! The food was excellent, the staff friendly and an amazing vibrant atmosphere with the live music. The guy with his guitar and mouth organ was brilliant and played a perfect mix of classic songs that we all sang along to.
Back to the food…. Loved the fresh veg served with all meals, even my prawn and hake curry. We will be back if visiting Tenby again.

They squeezed me and my husband in.
everything was cooked to perfection.
It’s also dog friendly.
The staff were warm and welcoming. And extra my grateful we paid cash

The food was really good and the service was very attentive. We went for 7pm and it was half term which meant plenty of children making a lot of noise. Would definitely recommend The Bay Tree but maybe not in school holidays if you like it more relaxed
Popped in for a light lunch. Pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. Seems a popular place. Quick service with the food arriving piping hot and nicely served. Food reasonably priced and there is a varied menu to suit all tastes.
We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and even though the staff didn't know, we felt very special. A table for two in the bay window, the best wait staff, Thursday night music and frigid for and wine! 10/10! Can highly recommend.

Super restaurant. Had lunch then booked our group of 9 for dinner on a Saturday evening, lucky to get a table. Good gluten free selection, good portion sizes served with a side of vegetables. Excellent service on both lunch and evening visits. Recommend booking.

Our family of 4 have lunch today with pre-booked table. Staff are very nice and friendly. We ordered 4 main dishes and all with good portion and with crispy chips. Chips are very nice. Mussels were our favorite dish with very nice creamy sauce and bread which served was warm as well. Fish cake with loads of cheese which my boys like that very much. Absolutely will come back again.
We had a meal here whilst on holiday, the steak was excellent as was the veggie curry, the food was so good we booked for the following evening, again the fish cakes and the pork tomahawk were both outstanding, great ambience with the background music also, friendly staff, thanks for a wonderful experience
After travelling all day we wanted an easy tasty meal and found it here. Nice wines by the glass, and a good range of starters served quickly - soup was good, cajun chicken lovely. The thai fish cakes very generous and well flavoured. Good all round.

Booked a table far in advance due to popularity and the reputation was spot on - friendly and helpful staff, amazing food and a calm atmosphere perfect for a ‘date night’.
I ordered the pâté, the lamb rump and then the chocolate fudge cake. Each course was perfect and you could tell had been properly thought out and the best ingredients sought. My partner had a salad for starters; chicken with bacon, leeks and cheese for mains; and chocolate and orange torte for pudding - she also loved all courses.
It was so good we’ve booked again for the end of the week before our holiday ends!
Nice restaurant in the main high street, there are a few street parking but your better off going to a car park which are only a short walk away. We had the fish pie which was really nice and the portion size was good. Prices for the high street and so close to the beach was better than some. Not really any good for wheel car users as there are steps and the toilet corridor is tight. Yes we would go again and well worth a visit.
We drove to Tenby nearly for 5 hours
We arrived late in Tenby we were extremely tired and exhausted after 9pm
Went in to ask if they still serve food I was greeted by amazing human being her name Stella she said i will double check with chef as it’s getting late she was extremely kind and helpful and we had dinner one of the best food I had tasted the service was excellent
We booked for Sunday lunch as the food was so delicious and great we went back on Sunday for lunch again excellent Sunday lunch Stella was there helping and providing excellent service if you visiting Tenby you must go to bay tree restaurant you won’t regret
We visited for dinner yesterday (having not visited the restaurant or Tenby for a year!) and the food was just as lovely as before. We had the early evening special which was 2 sirloin steaks with sides and a bottle of wine for £40 which is such a good deal! Food arrived super quickly and was great, the service was fantastic too - both members of staff we spoke to were lovely. I also had the raspberry and white chocolate roulade for dessert which was gorgeous. The live music on a Thursday evening was a nice touch too, really great atmosphere, would highly recommend :)
