Harbwr Lights - Kiln Park, Haven

Used for breakfast and dinner during our stay this year as well as multiple stays in the past. Food is good, this year was a helping offering kids eat for £1 - huge help thank you! Service mainly was really friendly and personable however one or two staff members need to remember they are supposed to at least pretend we aren't an inconvenience to their social lives by being there. One gentleman inparticular was fabulous, happy kind and friendly. Recommended some local places to visit too! Atmosphere is nice when it's not busy. When busy it can be difficult to hold a conversation and our meal was made difficult by some other children running round and around our table screaming at each other, upsetting dog at far end of restaurant starting barking. I know it's a family place, we were there as a family but others forget that too?

This restaurant is far better than I was expecting after reading the kiln park website and looking up reviews. They have a dedicated gluten free menu with loads of options including sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The service was a small bit slow and the food was better in the evening than it was during lunch time but the staff were lovely and overall our experience was great. The kids can look at the pool while you eat and there is a small playing area just outside the door ofnthe restaurant so it's great if you have little kids that need some entertainment to sit through dinner. Great spot
