Very polite and helpful staff, a great asset to the hotel.
Rooms are of a good size, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is good, without being outstanding.
Evening meals are enjoyable albeit somewhat "safe" cooking, rather than adventurous.
Overall, it's good value for money and I'd happily stay there
Great stay here. I arrived late evening and Russell made me very welcome indeed. Fantastic food and a very comfortable bed made my long day a perfect rest stop. Quick but relaxing breakfast and back out the door. I did absolutely enjoy my brief stay and I expect to be back again
Stay just for 1 night but it was enough to say that it deserves a 5 star review. Really traditional environment on a lovely spot in the english countryside. All staff members were helpful and the breakfast included gluten free options which makes the whole experience even better.

I know most people say this, but the staff were amazing, they really were and I couldn't thank them enough, just fantastic. The rooms were nice, no air conditioning unit or fridge in my room. Bathroom was great but I wouldn't recommend using the jets in the bath as when put on lots of residue came o
