My family and I came here this weekend as we were in the area for my sister and sister in law's 30th birthday get together and we found this pub on our travels and decided to come for a drink. Absolutely lovely location! Lovely bar and lovely atmosphere!! I loved it 🥃

We had arranged to meet friends there and we both had to travel quite a distance to get there. We both got caught up in dramas on the motorway and we were forty minutes late. Our friends did phone ahead to tell them and they went out of their way to accommodate us, for which we were very grateful. On top of that, the food we had was first class and the ale was well kept as well.

A truly lovely hotel, everything from the greeting on arrival to the departure was spot on. All the staff greeted you with a smile, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was excellent, the rooms clean, comfortable and bathroom well stocked with nice towels. Nice location and close to many places to visit. Thank you Nat and Matt.

I was part of a very big group (20+) who arrived at The Priory without booking one lunch time. The staff were able to accommodate us all and worked a way to get all food and drink orders in and served up with efficiency and a smile too. Great service when we caught you off guard! The food was delicious too. Thanks 👍

Very nicely decorated rooms, well appointed, furnished and supplied. Helpful, pleasant staff. The food looks good too but this will be better proved by the breakfast which I am looking forward to eating

We stayed here as my father in laws wake was being held here. From the minute we arrived the staff were great and very attentive. We had lunch which was a shared Camembert then grilled cheese & onion sandwiches which came with chips. It was presented lovely & was tasty. We then booked in to our room . We were in room 1. It was spacey with everything we needed eg ironing board iron hairdryer tea& coffee. The bed was very comfortable the room was very clean. We had breakfast the next morning which consists of cereals ,toast selection of jams& juices. We ordered from the menu and chose full English which was cooked perfectly. A selection of teas were available as was coffee. Katie was my hero as she went out of her way to find me a fan. Katie Paul Reece& the lovely man who served us lunch are a credit to Natalie. Natalie is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The priory has a lovely atmosphere and I would absolutely recommend it. I couldn’t find fault with anything & would definitely stay again x

Visited Tetbury a few weeks ago. Didn't stay here, but we did have Sunday roast here. It was delicious. Well cooked. Good size portions at a good price. I had the baked bree and cranberry as a started. Amazing. Atmosphere was very good. Kids and other people at other tables were enjoying themselves. Nice country feel to the restaurant.

Clean rooms, kind staff and good food. Very close to the road, but the noise didn't bother us. There is a nice outdoor area for relaxing and drinking.

Having arranged our break at the last minute, we were lucky to book a four night stay at the Priory Inn in June 2023. The hotel managed by husband and wife team, Matt and Natalie Starkey, was just right in so many ways. Its location gave us varied options, with day trips to the Cotswold villages, to South Wales (Brecon Beacons), a tour of the Mendip Hills and a day at Longleat Safari Park. The staff at the Priory Inn were very friendly and helpful. They were always smiling and polite throughout the day and made us feel at home at all times. The food at the Priory Inn was excellent. Starting the day with varied tasty breakfast options, including the full English, set us up well for our days out. We ate at the Priory Inn for one evening and enjoyed the meal. Again, its location also meant we could try other local restaurants (Italian & Nepalese) for alternative food choices. The rooms were clean and comfortable and once the shower temperature control was mastered our stay was stress free. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the Priory Inn and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you Matt and Natt
