Friendly local pub. We went there for a Halloween quiz on a Wednesday evening and it was a lot of fun!

Very friendly welcoming pub. Not at all adverse to soggy hiking gear having taken a detour from The Ridgeway national trail that runs close by. Passionately dog friendly even throwing another log in the wood burner to help warm the poor mutt up :) Recommended AAA+++

Brilliant Community focused pub. Great drinks, people, management and staff. Excellent variety in all the pop up food and lots of fun to be had here. One of the few pubs that really care about their wines, too!!

Looking for somewhere for a bite to eat on Saturday night and happened across the Bird In Hand. Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and nice fish & chips!! I wish all pubs made you feel like it was your local!
