We found this place purely by accident on the way back from RAF Marham on a Wednesday mid afternoon. The landlord was so welcoming and helpful, and although not doing food suggested we go to the take away a few doors down and bring the food back and eat it in the pub, cutlery and plates provided! He then gave us a very interesting potted history of the pub, which was fascinating. All in all a must to revisit! Thoroughly recommended!

Stunning local pub. The interior decor is phenomenal, and they are slowly working their way through the outside spaces. Everyone working here is Ace. So incredibly nice. The kind of pub you would love to find when out on your travels, or feel like the luckiest person in the area if that was your local.
Had a chance to talk with the owner, and they are working on even more improvements. Can't wait to see it all come to life. Stunning now, and only going to get better.
Elegant establishment. Great food. The bartender was very knowledgeable. The wait staff was friendly. Reservations are highly recommended.
What a great little boozer. Lovely beers. Wingbacks by the fire. And so lovely to meet a guvnor that actually knows about his booze. Thank you so much for the impromptu lesson on rum and whiskey.
This is a great pub!
I was in the area visiting a friend and he suggested going there as they have a great selection of German beers in for octoberfest and I'm a big fan of them. (They had four on tap and about 25 in bottles)
The owner/manager is a great guy, very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, we had a couple of good chats with him about them.
The pub itself is a lovely place. The main bar feels very cosy and welcoming. The whole place is descriptively big, it doesn't look very big from the front. But there is a large dinning area behind the main bar and a great sized beer garden out the back.
We didn't get any food but the beer was all very reasonably priced.
I will definitely be going again the next time I'm in the area.
Incredible staff that make you feel like family! Their beer is kept perfectly and consistently throw themed nights to include (rum week, whiskey week etc) I also have been to their Karaoke nights and would highly recommend!
Lovely atmosphere and I have lots of food intolerances but they were brilliant helping me order something tasty. Service what great. My husband had the best beef burger he has ever had. We have decided to make this our local for and evening out to n the future. Thank all at the Wellington for making us welcome
