Me and my sister visited today and had such a lovely time. The garden centre was well stocked with a variety of products. There is so much choice from gift ideas to home ware etc. We had lunch in the lime kiln cafe, the staff gave great service, they were so friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was delicious too! We were even offered a box to put my sisters sandwich in that she was too full to finish. We will definitely visit again :) :D
Lovely garden centre. We really enjoy coming here. The restaurant/food is outstanding, the staff are warm and friendly. There is a waffle/drink van and a pizza van out the back, highly recommend the waffles (haven't tried the pizza yet). Great centre with pretty much everything you need to kit your garden out, slabs, gravel, lots of plants, pond plants, fish. Every plant we have bought has thrived :). There's also a big gift area with lovely bits and pieces in. Great little trip out for everyone :)
Pretty good garden centre, with a fantastic tearoom, that was my initial thought, the centre had everything a budding gardener might need but the tearoom got the plaudits because it was outstanding.
I buy all my terracotta pots from you for hand painting on and I love that they are now all undercover keeping them clean and dry. Also there is a lovely selection of gifts to choose from not to mention a great restaurant. I love shopping here!
Nice afternoon tea, too much to eat however. Quality of produce was OK, exceptional no, but nevertheless perfectly fine. Maybe only criticism is the cost, for that money you can have an afternoon tea in a fancy hotel or somewhere a little more exotic than a garden center, but that's about all u would say. Service was attentive.
This review is for Lime Kiln Kitchen , large seating areas inside and out , the food was excellent ( 4 empty plates , nothing left ) as was my Chai Latte and caramel cake , the menu choice of food was quite extensive , service from all staff that I encountered was excellent.
Because this is situated within the garden centre there is plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly access 👍
First time here, the cafe was very busy but worth the wait and staff also very friendly and helpful, definitely will be going back
Nice cafe with good food and service. Shop is huge and full of stuff. I found it expensive, but people were coming out with their trollies full. A very busy place.
Excellent garden centre with good variety of plants, all of which looked well kept and extremely healthy (unlike those in many other garden centres at this time of year!). And most were very reasonably priced with some good multi buy offers. Unfortunately didn't have the one thing I wanted, which was some metal fencing, but nevertheless well worth a visit.

We arrived at 10.30 on a sunday and thought we would have our coffee and cake before shopping and im glad we did, as by 11am there was a long que . Vegan scone £4 with jam. The garden centre is a good size. Lots of great deals. Kids activties such as connect four, jenga and throwing game. Sadly, the outside restaurants aren't open. Really fancied a coffee but restaurant inside was min of 40mins wait.
Isabella’s (Lime Kiln Kitchen) restaurant is always a delight with great food, drink & service from a friendly & knowledgeable staff. My Mum’s favourite place to meet too.
