Delicious Sunday dinner, excellent value for money too. The children’s meal I ordered for my son was the tastiest risotto I’ve ever had. Refreshing to see varied options on a children’s menu too. Highly recommend.
Food exceptional, full of flavour. Its all local and fresh and the meals made to order, including the deep pies. Side salads are amazing using most unusual salad items.
I will most certainly be returning more often as the menu changes regularly.

The food is superb whenever we've visited however when we decided to try on a Bank Holiday after visiting Thirsk (and due to the lack of restaurants in Thirsk) we were told that they'd stopped serving food at 5 (we arrived at 5:05) and the pub was going to close as soon as it got quiet.
