This is obviously a very popular cafe in the centre of Thirsk; we were lucky to get seating near the counter and it was full whilst we were there. There is also a small amount of seating outside with great views of the Market Place.
It’s quite a quirky place with lots of memorabilia linked to cycling.
Service was reasonably quick. I had a piece of gluten free lemon drizzle cake which was excellent; was pleased to see that it was clearly marked and under a separate cake dome.
My husband had coffee and a very large scone which he enjoyed.
Lovely coffee and cinnamon toast/muffins for breakfast. A very popular and dog friendly cafe. Tables were filled very quickly and good service.
What a joy to find a cafe with such a creative approach, meeting the needs of residents and visitors alike. A creative menu of food and snacks to suit all tastes, served with care and attention and a really personal touch. This cafe is a gem! Highly recommended.
Probably the best latte I have had in a long time. Sat outside in the sunshine, it was wonderful to watch the world go by!
And it was so nice to see cutlery in my favourite Lyle’s Golden Syrup tins!
Wow such delicious food! Tried the Eggs Benedict with Haggis and it was absolutely amazing! Service was great as well.
A lovely little café, the basic menu is good and the specials menu looked really good. They have vegan/vegetarian options and gluten free options too. They had tables outside so if you can't manage the step inside, you can still enjoy their service. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lots of things for sale too, mugs, aprons, alcoholic drinks.
Only just got a table for 3 on a busy Monday lunchtime. We’re visiting Thirsk from London. Ordered 2 toasties: ham/cheddar and mozzarella/pesto. Also a roast chicken breast sandwich. All came with a tasty leaf salad and delicious creamy home made coleslaw. Sandwiches were packed full of filling, no scrimping. Ordered a portion of chips: wow! Piping hot, huge and possibly triple cooked? We were fighting over them. Super friendly ladies who immediately took our order and served the hot drinks. Didn’t have to wait for the food. Can’t wait to go back! The red pepper soup was flying out so would give that a try next time
Great place for a quick lunch. Had a delicious panini (chicken, chorizo and oak smoked cheddar cheese) with home made chips. Came with a fresh mixed salad and coleslaw. This was a day's special menu, look out for them. They are always nice, only difficult is in choosing. The staff was very welcoming and nice. Will come back again, thank you very much.
My father and I enjoyed a hearty lunch at this lovely cafe. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! We definitely plan to go back when we are in the area.
Amazing breakfast, friendly staff and a beautiful cute place.
