We didn't expect much when we booked, but boy, we were so wrong. We arrived when it was heaving down, so we decided to get a drink before checking in. The table was being cleaned by someone as we arrived. We ordered on the app and asked where we checked in. My wife was escorted to the check-in a
Had our evening meal here. As usual, great place. Hot food and friendly service. Used the ordering app. Worked as expected. Very busy and is wheel chair friendly with a side entrance to the main area and dis able loos. There are many different levels within the establishment Was old grade 2 l
Pretty decent as Wetherspoons go. Food and drink service was swift and the staff were friendly. Can't argue with the value for money for sure! Food was tasty. Location is great, in the heart of the town in the market Square.
It's a budget hotel owned by a budget beer company. But that said, the rooms were clean, the food was good enough, the drinks were cheap and it's in the marketplace. So if you're looking for the ritz, maybe try somewhere else. If you want a decent bed, breakfast, and alcohol then this place is goo
Good Pub, good service. Hotel is a bit tired and some rooms are noisy as above the toilets. Cheap though, does the job and you can take food or beer up to the room.
Located in the centre of town so easy to find. Lots of seating in hidden corners of the restaurant, some areas quieter than others. Very sticky bar tables though. Had a lovely meal and left as it started to get very busy.
Popped in a couple of times while at Thirsk for the racing weekend. Super friendly and efficient staff, really well done guys on a very busy weekend. Fantastic range of beers n food.

Stopped off on the way back from Easingwold looking for a quick meal fairly late on in the evening. Really friendly service, food was really good and very well priced, nothing was too much hassle and there was plenty of tables to choose from.
Brilliant place, just ashame the food wasn't up to standard, chips cold, wasn't asked how I'd liked my steak cooked, but apart from that, the food filled a gap, wont put me off returning,it is definitely a lovely pub
Had a large breakfast here, and it was one of the better Weatherspoons experiences we have had of late.Staff were efficient and friendly. It is a nice setting in Thirsk's market square.
