Fantastic family day out at Spilman farming! We picked delicious strawberries and raspberries. The kids, whose ages ranged from 15 to 3 all had a great day. They successfully solved the corn maze and even played a piano in a barn full of toys!
We ate a very delicious home-made sausage quiche (my compliments again to the chef!) in the café. We enjoyed an ice-cream. And we will definitely be visiting again.
I was very excited a few days after our visit when I received an e-mail to say I'd won the luxury hamper! We collected it a day or two later and was totally amazed with its full and varied contents! (sadly I don't know how to add pictures). Wonderfully succulent lamb steaks and chops (I highly recommend you purchase some on your visit) delicious sausages, home-made chutney, jam, ginger beer and lemonade. Fresh eggs and honey, punnets of fresh strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, cranberries and redcurrants. A gorgeous Dahlia plant and a very useful basket! All that for simply adding my name and e-mail to a piece of paper at the till :D

Strawberry and raspberry picking for the first time today! Our family loved it! Very helpful staff, lovely farm and grounds! Definitely would go back and definitely recommend!
Experience is worth the price. Visited couple of months ago for strawberry and raspberry picking. Planning to visit again for more fruits. The voucher is absolutely great to use. Fun place to visit on a weekend with lots of food available- pizza is good to try.
Easy to find the route and car park is available too.
Just one drawback - only one toilet is available.
The pumpkin festival is a giggle for a few hours of family fun. Pick your own pumpkin, wash it, carve it using the handy tools provided, and pay based on the size.
There's also pipe rolling, a corn cannon, a spud slingshot, tractor trailer rides ... oh, and some hideously noisy & expensive funfair rides / stalls (which really detract from the atmosphere).
You can then chill out with a drink and some food at the café.
AMAZING place for pumpkin picking. I try to find places that grow their own pumpkins and Spilmans didn’t disappoint! There was so much to do for everyone, we spent a full day here on Saturday! Amazing pumpkins
I was a bit disappointed that it seemed a lot smaller than in recent years and the strawberries weren’t ripe but we still managed to get lots and have fun. The sunflower fields are so pretty. There’s a maze aswell that the kids really enjoyed. It’s a lovely day out
Great activities, plenty of varieties of pumpkins for picking! Something for the whole family. Good drinks and prices from the bar but the food vans were hit&miss.
We had fantastic time. I didn't know picking our own pumpkin would be such fun. I addition show for kids, riding on barrels , shooting etc. All great.
Very good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking. Pumpkins were awesome. Loved the photo opportunities, extra things to do and the overall atmosphere. Fantastic location with beautiful views.
Nice place for pumkin picking and tractor ride. Pizza was also great and the small farm shop. Limited if raining but that's understandable.
We went pumpkin picking last year and loved it so decided to go for strawberry and raspberry picking...again it was a lovely experience and we look forward to sunflower picking very soon.
Fantastic family business what you pick changes with the seasons, asparagus strawberry then soft fruits sunflowers potatoes finally pumpkins . At weekends pizza drinks and open sided barn for family fun
