Room layout could've been better, when lying on bed, had to turn to see TV which was a bit uncomfortable.

We had our wedding cetemony and reception at the Punchbowl Inn. Danielle, Andy and the staff were all beyond Awesome. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Plenty of food for thecreception, no-one went hungry. Would highly recommend this place if you are having a small wedding and want to do it all in one place.

Good and bad, food good staff friendly now the bad room not up to scratch broken draw on bed bathroom door sticking handle falling off which I fixed bath panel falling off, bathroom radiator not working ,no hot water and i mean no hot water coming out of tap from 22 .30 till 7.30 warm water coming out off cold tap needs some money throwing at the rooms

Not stayed there as we have made it our local but the staff are amazing and the beer is kept perfect in the cellar as the quality is always good hope to try the food soon.

Stayed for one night. Staff were very cheerful and friendly when I arrived. I had steak for evening meal which was reasonably priced. Good choice on the menu. Food arrived promptly.
The room was clean and bed very comfortable. I struggle to sleep on different beds, but there were no issues here! Walls a bit thin so neighbours alarm woke me up. Very good range of hot drinks available in the room with biscuits.
Breakfast was superb, and didn't consist of the usual cheap ingredients.
I would definitely recommend this place, and will be back again

As always good food at family prices (most at £11 for two substantial meals and even better value for seniors. Very friendly sports pub but the tvs' are not intrusive unless a really big event is on sky.

Good location and parking the place looks good but midweek it lacks atmosphere
The food is fresh and a bit basic the menu could be dressed up a bit better it resembles a greasy cafe laminated sheet
Service not bad but only one person looking after the bar and tables
Aim for weekends if you want a better atmosphere

Under new management and the managers son was cooking today, we popped in for tea and was definetly not disappointed. Two for £9.95 I had liver and onion, chips and g. peas and my partner had burger and chips. Wishing them lots of luck we will be back excellent food, friendly barmaid we had a lovely chat with, clean and pretty pub.

This is a really lovely place the food was spot on and the staff were all friendly, we only called in because we were passing and was hungry but the next time I'm out that way I will call again. The only negative I could say is the table & chairs looked more like a cafe but they were all clean and well spaced out

The Punchbowl is local to us and has just changed hands. Chris is lovely so warm and friendly. We had lunch which was very good freshly cooked and ample portions. So good to have it back up and running again. I truly hope they do well.
