This boutique restaurant is a hidden gem in the city, the best high tea experience. It is nestled inside the plaza that is very clean and offers variety of wonderful shops. The tea shop maintained very well both interior & exterior. You felt like you're in the Victorian era & escaped into your dream. The services were incredible. When I made the reservation, I was greeted warmly and explained my options. The staffs were very welcoming, helped taking pictures, & encouraged us to stay as long as we wanted. It felt like home. The food were delicious, especially the sandwiches (the condiments were addictively flavourful). The price was great and not overpriced. (Much better than hotel high tea) This is the best high tea spot, you have yet to try!

Add this to your must visit list if you like hi-tea or English tea menus/vibes!! It's a small space and busy, ensure you book your spot beforehand. The food was yumm! All the tea items were delectable and just perfectly in sync with the theme! You won't compromise in taste or the ambiance if you go here! 🤩

Very nicely decorated afternoon tea shop. Tea and bakeries are all lovely and delicious. Only thing I wish they had were champagne offerings with their afternoon teas. Overall a good value place for afternoon tea.

A lovely little place for High Tea. Atmosphere was welcoming and fitting, the food was good and the tea was great! Salad was simple and not much to it but the dressing was fantastic.Quiche was delicious. Sandwiches were good. Could have used more creme fraiche for the biscuits because it was quite tasty but the desserts were just ok. Still a very enjoyable afternoon with my girls.

Had such an amazing time at this beautiful little tea shop! I went to celebrate a birthday for a friend of mine , and the atmosphere, service and food was spectacular. It was spot on for the British theme. Definitely would recommend for a nice afternoon tea with your friends and family. Special thanks to Sophie for the outstanding service!! Looking forward to my next visit!

Very cute and charming high tea shop. Price is $43.00 for high tea and $33.00 for afternoon tea. Portions were very small, they don’t double up on the dessert items so you don’t get to try them all unless you bite and share with your guest. Only seats about 30 ppl so you need to make reservations. Food was just average. Enter through automatic doors between longos and pet value

Delicious Afternoon Tea. Socially distanced tables. Great gem in a Thornhill strip mall. Table setting so pretty and the room has a lovely ambiance. Food was outstanding -scones prepped in house, heavenly clotted cream, sandwiches and petit fours balanced and just right. Service was polite and unobtrusive. Hot water could be a tad hotter but I'm assuming this was the set temp? It's not cheap but I would say fairly priced considering the effort and quality that one can feel and taste. Had tea here before Covid...am so happy After Queen has been able to get through the tough times and even happier it's open again.

Not the easiest place to find, we drove around the parking lot looking for a sign. When we finally found it, we waited for someone to acknowledge we were there, & were beginning to think we’d be going somewhere else. Obviously understaffed, the place was very busy, with tables uncomfortably close, considering the past two years. We waited almost 20 minutes for our tea, then had to request milk. Then the food. The quiche was delicious, the salad nothing more than lettuce with 3 thin slices of strawberries. Totally uninspiring. The sandwiches were quite nice though all were served on white bread, the egg salad needed alittle pepper or something, & the open faced tuna salad was a challenge, as it was a scoop on a piece of bread. Tasty though. The cream cheese & cucumber was very sparse, alittle more cream cheese would have made a huge difference. The scones were really delicious but the clotted cream was a very skimpy portion. I really wanted to love this place especially after reading the reviews, but the service was slow, no one asked how anything was, nor offered more water for the tea til we flagged them down. The decor was really the highlight, beautiful antiques & mirrors which gave the illusion of a bigger place. I loved all the vintage china that was on display. Maybe during the week service is better but on a Saturday it was pretty underwhelming. It was better than a three though not quite a four.
