Lovely little pub in the heart of Thornton, Lancashire. Very friendly and welcoming by both staff and local customers. Good, well kept real ale highly recommended to try. Looking forward to my next visit.

We celebrated a surprise 40th last Saturday afternoon with private bar and food & drink. We had approx 30 guests attend and the size and service made if very personal. Thank you so much for going the extra mile with catering for the younger ones. We would 1000% recommend Albatross for small private afternoon functions. Thanks again, Harry & Lucie x

The Albatross is an absolutely brilliant bar with a fantastic selection of gins and really well kept beer. It is the best night out in Thornton. I recommend that you pay it a visit and am sure that you will be back.

Love this place, don't visit as often as I'd like! Great selection of beers and gins! Reasonably priced!
Can get very busy, but the seating outside on a warm summers evening is welcome!
Dog friendly, friendly staff, will definitely be visiting again when I'm up that way!!
