I was pleasantly surprised! After visiting this pub before I didn't like children running around whilst I ate my food so I chose to eat elsewhere.
I then revisited with my father for an early evening meal and the food was really good. I had a delicious fish pie and it was one of the best.
I would recommend this place.
Food was really lovely. I make a class chillie so I'm usually disappointed when ordering it but these guys have nailed it, the lamb shank was even better, mash and veg all good. The curry wasn't bad either, just a tad expensive but id go back to be fair. The waitress was clearly new so I'm not gonna mark down for service. 5 stars Id say
Also it's quite smart inside and the view from the garden looked canny too
Dropped in on a Friday night with 2 kids 2 adults. It was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend the cheese pot pie. Kids portions were big too!

Me and my partner went in for the 1st time today for a breakfast which was a buffet style bottomless breakfast in a really clean environment. The food was really good and the guy at the bar serving was really helpful. So he deserves a bit of credit also. We have vowed to go in there again for another breakfast or dinner sometime. Great place
Brilliant evening in the punch bowl , very friendly staff can’t fault them ! Food was amazing I’d definitely go back anyday . Shame the place wasn’t as busy as it should be ! Hats off to them😊
I hadn't been in here for over 20 years it used to be a bit dark and dingy. It's now really lovely with excellent food. The lady behind the bar was lovely, friendly and helpful. The meat and onion pie - homemade- was lovely.
The staff are very friendly and polite, nothing seems too much for them. The pub is very clean and decorated to a very high standard and gives off a nice country home feeling. The food is phenomenal, best burger I've had in a long time (the photo does not do it justice). Would highly recommend this place.
I went with a friend and she only went for some tickets for an event we had a glass of Lemonade my friend had some lunch I didnt want anything to eat The Punch bowl is a lovely friendly pub good staff and nice and clean too

Called in for a drink today. Now the punch Bowl is a homely attractive pub with a very pleasant atmosphere. The lady who served me was welcoming and friendly. Think she could have well have been the landlady. Also good to see that dogs are welcome again following a big mistake from the pasy
