Emily's - The Bronte Birthplace - Thornton - Photo album

Been here during my trip to West Yorkshire, but sadly closed. Can't wait to return and visit the house when it will be open for the public, as a museum, as a pilgrimage place for the Brontë fandom (as it should have always been, thank God it's in public ownership!). I will be back for many years to
Lovely little café, steeped in history. Nice place for a good quality snack and a coffee. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Bring cash if possible as don't have a card reader, (but they were able to take payment by direct transfer).
The best coffee on the planet! Absolutely the best Italian deli ever. Come in, relax and spend a wee while leaving the world behind. Fabulous food and drink plus Italian and home made cakes in the birthplace of the Bronte sisters. Sit in the rooms they lived in and kick back. Staff are wonderful but
Great food and excellent tea and coffee. Intriguingly different decor. Service was slow when we visited but to be fair a very large order had just been taken and we were warned.
Where Emily and her sisters were born, great atmosphere delicious food you could meet anybody in there , the owner is great to share information about the house. 5 stars.

The owner was lovely too and took the time to tell us a little bit if history about the place and the ar
From the moment I opened the door I was greated with, good morning. I was then served the tastiest latte. Followed by amazing homemade beans, and finished off with a fluffy, light slice of lemon cake the owner was very kind and made me feel welcomed i’ll Be back in no time.
Lovely atmosphere and well adapted as a cafe. Coffee and cake deal good value at five pounds. Tastefully served on a board with water. Best, lightes t tangy lemon cake I have had
This place can't be beaten! The service is always friendly, the food authentically Italian and made with care and the atmosphere relaxing and homely. Savoured their pizzas today for the first time...just the best! Love coming here. 😊
