Great country pub, with excellent food and friendly helpful staff. Had lunch yesterday to try it out as it is the nearest pub to our new office that we moved into on Friday. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved it here!! Stayed in a beautiful room for 2 nights, had breakfast and evening meal here and could not fault the food, the service or the stay. Ran by lovely people who make you feel valued. Will return when back up near Andover.

We recently had a lovely Sunday lunch here, was ideal for our family get together as it was a nice atmosphere and everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious and so much of it, great value for money! Claire was fantastic...friendly, helpful and nothing was too much of an ask - a great asset to your team! We shall be back again soon!

We came a few Sundays ago for a roast and it was the best roast dinner we ever had. Stunning food. So tasty, super hot plenty of veg options. The young barmaid was very friendly and attentive. Would go back again.

Good pub food and beer. Room was clean and a decent size. Can hear traffic on A303but dint disturb my sleep. Irritating that tv kettle and a light were not plugged in

My friend and I stayed at the pub for one night on our way to Devon. The twin room was very comfortable, with a nice choice of tea and coffee and we could hardly hear the road! The only issue was the temperature gage in the shower, which neither of us could régulate so the temperature was scalding-hot - impossible to get under. There dis not seem to be any staff in the morning. I am still giving this place 5 star because we had a lovely meal in the evening and the waiting staff were super-lovely !

Pleasant stop for a pub lunch. Service at the bar was very slow and ran out of fish and chips due to a largish party ahead of us. But the pub wasn’t busy.

Only stopped for a pint after a 3 mile walk. The staff were pleasant and the others in the bar all chatted with me. I would recommend this pub just off the A303 at Thruxton.

Greeted with a warm welcome by the guy behind the bar and the friendly locals. We picked a few bits of the starters menu for 3 of us to share and the food and service was superb and well priced too. The girl that served us at the table sorted water and gave us some biscuits for our doggy too. Cracking pub 20 seconds off the A303 and we wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again. Bravo
