Cream Teas - Thurlestone - Photo album

We chose to stay as they are dog friendly and we were able to have our dog in the room with us. The staff were very friendly throughout. The room wasn't as good as we were expecting for the price. The shower was old and difficult to use and it felt dated overall. Food was good. We had reservations
First class service. Staff very friendly. 5 star receptionists. Fabulous food, every meal was tasty. Thank you to the cleaning staff very thorough. Thank you to Billie, Trainee Waiter waited on us 100%, great worker and a major plus for the Hotel. Definately would come back!
Stopped in for a coffee and cake with eight others and a dog. Could not have had a warmer welcome. Great coffee, and the cake was good too, I'm told. Superb view of Thurlestone Bay from the terrace we sat on. 😀
What it is to luxuriate in the glorious South Devon sunshine for a hard earned full English cream tea, after a few hours clifftop walk from Salcombe on the SW Coastal Path. Courteous staff, excellent fare, satisfyingly complete (with the doggy bag for the scones we couldn't manage).
This Hotel is the Crème la Crème in Venues in South Devon it’s got a fantastic swimming pool inside and in the summer outside pool, the food in the restaurant or the bar is fantastic value for money and next door is the Village Inn part of the same ownership and again wonderful food and drinks
Very good experience other than the rude waitress serving us. Spa is great food is great rooms are great. Will return
Wonderful service. The reception, facilities team, house keeping, night porters were all so fantastic and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. Thank you so very much 😊
Have been here several times for a short break, and have never been disappointed. Everything and everyone first-class.
The Thurleston is the best hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are all excellent, the location is amazing, the food is superb!! If you want to be active, there is plenty to do, if not, it's a lovely place to be lazy and pampered. Love it. Took both the photos from our room.
I was treated to a spa afternoon recently and had a lovely time. Service was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and the hotel beautiful. The only let down was some items in the spa were not working.
Excellent lunch on the terrace today. Bar staff were attentive and food and coffee of a high standard.
Still my favourite Hotel locally for drinks, dinner with Friends and a lovely view of the coast. A friend recently stayed so only saw his room briefly and it was to an standard and style you would expect. I prefer more boutique but that is my taste. The excellent service and food is why I keep going
Lovely lunch with the family. Food was excellent and service was first class. Beautiful village and surrounds. Just the ticket for a spring luncheon.
We visited the pub restaurant in this country/ village hotel on Saturday 23rd July. We were a group of four adults and two dogs. The reception and service we received was excellent; the restaurant is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food we had was so tasty, prices are reasonable.
Outstanding hotel in a beautiful location unfortunately way out of our price range
After many years of visiting this wonderful hotel it never disappoints, the food was excellent along with the very friendly staff who made it all seem so effortless, with Jacob a real star in the rock pool where he worked so hard all day keeping a very polite and friendly manner in the blistering su
Not the cheapest of places but a really lovely hotel. Rooms are great and the beds very comfortable. Food is excellent and for a hotel I really liked that the main menu changed each day. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Most guests seem to stick to wearing masks which is reassuring. The out door
