This is the only place to eat in town and in most of the surrounding towns for miles! Definitely the place to go if you're driving through the area. They make their own baked beans which were excellent!

The food was excellent. Very cheap$. Most of the waitresses are very good at what they do. One waitress has always a longue face and very rude with people. Im sure she had alote of complaints and should be fired. For food quality and overhall of Maxime restaurant I give it a ****

Great little spot to have chat with an old friend, the service was great and the lady waiting on us was in her late 50's but adorable. Food was good.

YOU'VE GOT TO EAT HERE! Maxime's is French-Canadian cooking at its best. Generous plates of good food served by competent and friendly staff. You can tell it is a favourite among locals. I was there for breakfast, and quickly fit in amomg the f
"regulars". Coffee is served quickly and topped up frequently. Daily newspapers are as plentiful as the smiles from staff and patrons. I was feeling daring, ordering a yogurt and fruit cup to start, followed by their Super Max big breakfast. What a treat! Friendly tip: save some of the yogurt and fruit to load into the delish crepe that comes with this feast! Bring your appetite to Maxime's, they'll take care of you.

Oh well! Chicken quesadillas were not ment to be served like this. Somebody had the urge to be creative and bombed. The quesadillas were drowned in nacho sauce and mixed with other things making the quesadillas soggy and unpalatable. Noticed other people putting aside their dishes so it wasn't just us. Service could have had a smile but maybe the waitress had just eaten some quesadillas.

Waited over an hour, only to be told that our order had been misplaced and that it hadn't been prepared. Lack of attentiveness and refusal to accept responsibility means I won't be dining here again.

Terrible service; despite being the only table waitress could not even get a simple order right. Then she tried to convince us to accept her error - no thanks. Won't be going back.
